It was a good win by Rockets. Actually they deserved the previous game as well but the referees didn’t allow it. About Alperen, since the illness I don’t think he has fully recovered yet because he gets tired very quickly in games. The coach takes him out to rest and puts him back in many times and that cools him down and reduces his concentration.

So with this win, they snap their losing streak and hope that Sengun can recover. Close game as well between the Suns and the Warriors, it was entertaining as I thought that the Suns might pull a miracle win or force the game into OT.

Sengun really had a bad game this time. But this happens to stars. They are taking bigger responsibilities for their teams and as a result they get more tired. I see the only reason for this performance as fatigue, nothing else.

I thought Nuggets would win last night but I was wrong. Rockets finished the job quite early in the last quarter. Actually they got a little complacent during it which helped Nuggets get closer but still the gap was on double digits at the end...

Luka was injured, and that's why he played so few minutes. It's also worth noting that both he and Smart had poor field goal percentages throughout the game. In fact, LeBron was the only Lakers player who tried to do something, scoring 36 points, but it wasn't enough to beat the Clippers.
Incidentally, this is the first game this season in which LeBron has scored more than 30 points.

Yeah. KD took on the main responsibility as he should and with a bit of help from Reed he tore the game open and took control. We watched two very different games tbh. This time Alperen was really ineffective but they drew fouls on Jokic and slowed him down. Jamal and Amen weren’t overly impactful but they still had solid games. I think Smith also played well. his outside shooting was nice.

It's not the fault of the sport, more like the fault of social media applications. That's where most kids are right now.

I do understand that the NBA Cup is not really that successful, but it did make some changes that could make an NBA fan something to look for. It's a small tournament that makes players play harder during the season.
Imagine the other years when it did not yet exist. The games are more boring because we will have to wait for so long before the season ends.
But, I do believe they should not stop here. Make some amendments to the rules and how the games can be played in the streets. It will probably boost the number of watchers on their live stream.

I both agree and disagree at the same time. These kids do watch reels of 5 or 10 seconds that is true, but they also listen or watch podcasts that are hours long as well. Look at youtube and you will see that podcasts (or are they now called videocasts because they are in video form) where people talk for many hours and people listen to these guys talking and yet they do not watch the games.

The reason is simple, these podcasts share the funniest and most entertaining bits online on social media, so they get more people. NBA is still horrible at social media stuff, the "good moves in this game" type of videos are still missing. They need more social media presence to get these young kids to end up watching.

The reason is simple, these podcasts share the funniest and most entertaining bits online on social media, so they get more people. NBA is still horrible at social media stuff, the "good moves in this game" type of videos are still missing. They need more social media presence to get these young kids to end up watching.

That will be tough. They had been running for a long time, so I do think it's going to get boring at some point. I bet old school people like me also feel the same way. There are times when there's nothing new anymore. It's just the draft that we get excited about and some with the Finals.

Getting the attention of the new generation will be difficult, and you might be right that social media is the key to it. I can see them posting more compiled highlights of different stars on their Facebook page, but I doubt that will be enough. Whatever it is, I hope they have some ideas.

Both the minutes he played and his score trials during the game were low. However the fouls he drew and the assists he made were critical.
Yes, maybe the trade rumours are real and this was tested to preview a game plan without him but it could also have been a plan made specifically for this game.

I am happy about OKC's loss. Edwards has the potential to be better than SGA but he needs to learn how to be more consistent. It felt just like a game from last year's eastern conference finals, the defenses really stepped up. It was nice to watch.

sengun ang KD are the heart of the team when KD is out sengun , maneuver the team and put them in sync, he is also a threat inside the basket he is like Jokic, while KD inside with him they scramble the defense since they don't know who will score although if KD is inside he is the first priority, KD now jumps shot is a threat making it like automatic when he rises that is sure will count, he's like king of midrange, while other players also contribute Amen is also one of the important players in the team, now moving to scoring.

Nah, I don't think they are on par anymore. The later the season gets the more they will collect some losses, may it be through injuries to key players or because of resting them. In the beginning it's always easier compared to the end when you are not so fresh anymore. Especially the stretch of the last 10 games of the season, if they face good teams as well, might be the toughest time.
The team is very strong, don't get me wrong, but they won't stay under 10 losses, I ma pretty sure about that!

Rockets lost to Kings in overtime. They were actually leading for most of the game. I really don’t understand how they managed to lose it. And i still don’t understand Udoka’s insistence on such a tight rotation. Tate and Davison were playing quite effectively. I really don’t get why he’s not using them. He played Durant for 47 minutes. is he trying to get him injured or what? It’s impossible to make sense of it.
And on defense, Sheppard keeps getting targeted by whoever has the ball and Udoka still keeps him in the game...

Rockets started to lose against easy opponents recently. First it happened against Pelicans and now Kings... They lost both games by OT despite leading one by 25 points and by 14 points in the other one.

They just lose their advantage too easily. Udoka is really doing some things wrong here. I think they will still finish regular season in top 6 but in this way it's getting harder for them to be competitive during playoffs.
