I scanned through the latest posts and see there was some drama going on. Could anyone give me a quick rundown on the condition of BitVest, to save me hours of reading through all that?

Are there any stats that would allow calculating expected profitability, i.e. average weekly amount wagered for each currency? And does the "average bankroll" represent an actual amount held or is multiplied by the investors' margin?

it is true that in the past Bitvest was a popular gambling platform here and almost all members who like to gamble know about Bitvest.
but it is possible that due to the emergence of new gambling platforms that are more popular, this has caused the platforms to compete with each other. and that caused Bitvest to lose customers and become a reduced budget fund for platform development. even though if the budget funds are reduced it will be very difficult to make the platform more advanced and popular to compete with other gambling platforms.

Yes bitvest is most trusted casino before and nowadays this casino lost trust from gamblers and maybe the owner light Lord will do an action about his sites if he gonna still run this casino like before it's recommendable and trustworthy. well, that's why it's possible that if this gambling platform is rebuilt or develops its reputation again, I think it's a bit difficult. because there are many new, more interesting gambling platforms and lots of big promotions there.

I'm guessing that lightlord is the only person operating the site. If so, that's not a good sign for anyone interested in long-term investing in the bankroll, brings back bad memories of SafeDice, when one day admin just disappeared and never came back.
But if there are no issues with withdrawals or hot wallets being refiled when needed, it can still be a good option just for playing.

What we should focus on is the activities of the casino and how effective both casinos under Lightlord are functioning, let us know if anyone has an intensive game session on the casino and made a deposit or withdrawal from the site.
-If withdrawals are processed without any delay and no players are having any unresolved issues as it borders on deposit or withdrawal then we should worry less about Lightlord not being active on this forum or responding to replies on this thread.

Another thing is that, AFAIK, generally these bankroll investments used to be profitable before but I guess they've also changed a lot even if the market is turning bullish lately.

But if there are no issues with withdrawals or hot wallets being refiled when needed, it can still be a good option just for playing.

Yup, they used to be a big thing, but nowadays I'm only aware of 2 sites that allow BTC investments in the bankroll.
Strangely enough, them being less "popular" as investments, can make them more profitable. It's all about the wagered-to-bankroll ratio after all.

I'm too lazy to manually calculate the daily/monthly wagered average, but assuming it's about 7btc/day, HE is 1% and the total bankroll (per dicesites) is 78btc - this gives:
(BTC7*0.01*365)/365=32.8% expected annual yield. And that's in bitcoin, which is likely to appreciate in value on its own in the near future.

Of course this is overly optimistic, as low HE sites often have a hard time to achieve profits at expected levels + this doesn't account for investment margins. But still hard to ignore.

So it mostly boils down to how trustworthy and reliable the owner is. Sadly, such sites tend to be one-man bands, so if something happens to that person, it all falls down.

I was active player in Bitvest few years back when they were still active in promo and advertisement in this forum.
Frankly speaking, I do not see any significant change if I look at the online user/active users under the chat box.
I mean the number of active players is still stable enough, not dropping or not increasing much regardless the campaign is running or not.
Of course it is just my own opinion as I do not know the real statistic every single day but anytime I visit Bitvest, the number of active users is around 60-80 while online users is always more than 125.

Sure, inactive and non-responsive dev is always a red flag, but when it comes to the site's activity, things do not seem to be looking half as bad as you guys suggest.
Looking at the long-term trend from 2018 till now, the number of daily bets (which is a good indicator of activity) is at least stable, if not even on the slight uptrend:

When we do speak about against competitors or simply with the current competition in the market today then for in terms of profitability and overall bankroll that they do have but only a few does really have an

offering for which people could make out some investment to have at least some profit share in every month and most of them are stand-alone and doesnt really need one.There are ones who had started on getting some investors and later on they had closed up that line and operate solely which is understandable but on Bitvest case, they are still that continuing despite of the long time running which is really good.
Of course to those who are indeed sticking into this company and still seeing some progress and gains then it would be normal that they would be hanging around further.

You sure have a point, Bitvest was indeed one of the most vibrant casinos i knew of on this forum, they were really popular most especially in the days they had their signature campaign still active , but suddenly, after they closed their signature campaign, LL stopped posting here, and even up until now, it seems no member from the Bitvest team has ever come here to share with the community what is really going on, But the goodnews is that the site still online and from the activities, we can see that some person are still doing their gambling there, though this is what i personally would not do, but still, i would advice any body that wish to try out this casino to do so by starting with very minimal amount first, and make sure to try the withdrawal and pay attention on how long it took to receive the coin to your wallet, this should at least give an idea of how heathy the casino still is.
