I would agree it would be nice to have.  I hope sooner then later.  But being hero does not really bother me.

I will be here posting no matter hero or legendary.  I just enjoy the forums.

Under the assumption that each activity point has the same probability to give you the rank legendary, that there are 256 such values from 775 and 1035 1030 and that it was predetermined and as such grows linear.

There is not actually a waiting list to become a legendary member, you will become a legendary member when you have the random required amount of activity that is based on your UID and a secret hash.

Theymos has said that only two people have access to the code that contains the secret hash, and that he will never give it up himself. My best guess would be that either BadBear or grue is the other person who has access to the code with the secret hash, so in theory one of them could tell you when you will become legendary, however I would not personally hold my breath waiting for either of them to do so.
