internally referred to by monero core devs as Operation Overcast

You need to quit using so many hallucinogens, or get medical help if your hallucinations are not chemical-induced.

Come on now Risto , i think it might be you that needs a dose of reality.

Last I remember, Latapie did pretty much nothing for XMR besides hang around... yeah, he was there early on, but it hardly makes him some kind of representative.

Pointless to argue with delusional people.

Sure does when i quoted him saying he started a Monero Marketing company.

I can say I represent Donald Trump, it doesn't make it true.

It doesn't matter if it's true or not.. it was said.
And i believe him (Latapie) when he stated that.

Seems rather strange you guys are trying soooo hard to warp this story and attack me over it.
I smell a big story unfolding here.

What kind of retarded bullshit rhetoric trolling game you all playing ?
Seems to me i posted a News story quoting a known Monero Cheerleader / Spammer across Crypto.
And all of a sudden it's WW3 ?

Want to lynch someone ? Go lynch your buddy.. i just quoted what he said.

Further more since Latapie said this has been going on for months now and involves 4 other guys + Police
how many of you trying troll me etc here over this know more than the rest of us ?
I keep saying if you all have some new info let me know and i will add it to the first post on my News story topic.

I hope you realize the public out there will come to their own conclusions..
They are going to be more interested in the quote from Latapie than anything i say LOL

And i believe him (Latapie) when he stated that.

What he said was he decided to start a company to promote Monero. As far as I know, either the whole company never really got off the ground, or at least whatever it was going to do to promote Monero never got off the ground.

In particular, I'm not aware of any promotion of Monero that was done by any company started by David, and I probably would be, since he's been giving us updates. His updates have been of the form (paraphrasing): "Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around to do more for Monero, I've been very busy starting a company. I'll be able to do more later." That's about it.

If you have evidence to the contrary, I'm all ears.

... and how many credible solutions to the fixed blocksize problem in Bitcoin are there?

You are correct of course. Monero has many other important features besides privacy, that's just the best known. Either way Spoetnik's delusional fantasy deliberate trolling about 100s of other coins having the same features is completely wrong.

I have had Spoetnik on ignore for maybe a year. It works very well

Monero has solved this with adaptive blocksize limits and a tail emission creating a viable market where an increase in demand (more transactions) leading to an increase in price (higher fees) actually causes an increase in supply (larger blocks).
I'm not sure I understand this. Does that mean the emission curve is dynamic?

Vertoe is a hacked account

https://github.com/vertoe/bitcointalk/blob/master/README.md

So again, another example for this thread.

I thank-you Risto for your epic fail and I will update the main page of this thread to reflect.

Doesn't matter it appears this "vertoe" is going to post PMs of that account dating back as far as it needs to be...

Should be interesting to find what was posted on that account via PM.

Attack you? I'm not attacking anyone with what I said. Honestly, I'm more interested in pointing out Latapie didn't really have much to do with XMR not for you, but for other people who read this. I'm sorry, your opinion means very little to me.

Well that is not true though and it's common knowledge so i don't even know why you would bother.
His chat box records and his own forum comments would contradict you..
Never mind his own admission of starting a Monero Marketing company.

And i say that for all the people reading too of course Wolf i don't care what you think Wink

Rather rhetorical NO ?

All you guys ever do is joust playing games here to manipulate the readers.

Anything one party says never implies a relationship, because anyone can say anything. If the other party often references the first one, THIS implies a relationship. They're two-way - again, I can say I'm best friends with you, that doesn't make it true.

If you had half a brain you would shut up..
*if* you were correct (and you are not) that means squat !
All you have done is make it seem like your desperate to distance yourself from Latapie.
And you guys make it seem like i am the one out to get him LOL
Try supporting your own crew / fans etc guys.

Seriously as always i see a ton of Monero guys utterly bury yourselves in stupidity.
When all you had to do is keep your mouth shut..
Never fails a some what negative aspect is pointed out and you make it worse by piling on defensive lies and games.
Way to dig a hole for yourselves !
1.7 years of this same crap and you never EVER learn !

Defying common knowledge publicly is going to make you look like a deceitful jack-ass.

The topic is "Monero Marketing Team & Tactics"
That is what i am talking about.. for 2 years now.

I would have never said a word EVER about Monero if it was not for the topic title guys.
THAT ..is your problem.

You guys NEVER learn.. you march around causing so many problems it's just sad & pathetic.
Blame ?
Supporters or guys involved with the coin itself or services ? ALL of the above !

Monero seems to have attracted a collection of shameless shills that will stop at nothing.
You guys rival the Doge coin fan heyday of Late 2013 / Early 2014 ..and that is BAD ROFL

Don't get me wrong.. speak all you want.
I am just trying to offer you guys some advice.. the same thing i have said like a broken record for 2 years almost now.
Nothing ever changes.. you guys turn a minor event into a massive epic drama with fighting galore.

Monero is gay.. it has a shitty name and horrendous douche bags supporting it.
I got sick of trying to help you guys 2 years ago.. at this point fuck it.. drown rats.
Fuck you Shills and your "untraceable" coin.  Roll Eyes

Maybe get more eye patches and hoodlies and start a few more Monero Marketing companies..

While you were stretching like Mr. Fantastic to tie me to GAW, this happened:

DASH - the Original and Biggest Scam of all

I mean Paycoin was a $20,000,000 scam and these guys with Dash are cashing out "Interest" daily -- this will definitely top the Paycoin Scam

Hi to all the creditor investigators following Icebreaker, hope you can recover something for all those who were ripped off by this thief.  Grin

Guess who gets mention here....

http://www.coindesk.com/ponzi-allegations-patent-applications-bitcoin-headlines/

ceases to amaze me why Risto doesn't distance his monero puppets from ice given he is a known fraudster.

But like attract like and the monero crew actually respect ice for what he has done for monero.  After all, he pumped laundered money from hashfast into the coin so it is held up by him.

Hashfast owed about $40 million US from reporting......

Where is the evidence I "laundered money" into Monero?

here is some more info on one the the monero marketing team members (smoothie) mentioned in the op's comment.
this really embarrassed him and caused him to go on a mod reporting spree. i got lazy and just copy and pasted it without adding anything of value which opened the post up to deletion. i try and always add value and new info knowing the trolls report everything.
this is my new favorite thread and one that i feel is very important in exposing the monero scam and all the early adopter players who benefited from the crippled miner and highly inflationary emission curve.
this thread mainly focuses on the players involved and not the launch problems (multi threads started, crippled miner etc), and the highly inflationary emission curve. i will post some of that info later but not too much as i don't want to derail this thread from the original purpose (exposing the monero marketing team trolls).
if mod deletion becomes a problem i see no reason not to self moderate this thread.

That faggot should never have been part of anything XMR anyways. In the short term, if there is a better thing than faggots like Latapie outed out of something as serious as XMR, then I'd like to hear it. Pardon my French.
