Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

If you put in a number even higher than your balance - it will give you an insufficient funds and then it will have the updated balance.

To be clear, you need to be on the wallet page, and then attempt to withdrawal a large amount of BTC.

Worked for me.

It didn't work for me

My 20 BTC are still in limbo

And no news from burnside

And I missed the IPO.

And all of my assets are now worth half of what they were yesterday.

Epic fail, and I just played by the rules. Or so I thought (that there were any...)

I'm pissed, really. And I'm awaiting an explanation for all this mess.

EDIT: the withdraw trick debugged the site. That bug prevented me from buying. And now it's locked. **** that.

Tonight, BTC-TC is turning into BTC-DICE. Make your bets! Oh sorry, I hear it now: "NO MORE BETS!", wow, that came early...

 Undecided

Yes I'm really pissed because that IPO wasn't even remotely made by the rules.

Why did 1888 shares of labcoin sell that I didn't have posted for sale or want to sell?  They are up over 50% from the price that I got for them.  I had 407 posted for sale and those same shares sold multiple times.  My 1888 shares back please.

Burnside, you gotta pull a MtGox quote here!

"First of all we would like to reassure you but no we were not last night victim of a DDoS but instead victim of our own success!" - MtGox

Everyone would understand!  Cool

What is your account login and what did they sell for?  I'll sell you some of mine for the same price, I just need that info to look it up and verify.

We had a locking issue this evening for some reason that I'm still trying to figure out...

Cheers.

Heh.  I think today went "ok".  I would not call it a success.  I suspect my standards may be slightly higher.   Cheesy

Just wrapped up the database server upgrade I mentioned earlier today.  It's not our final config, just what the host had ready to go in a pinch.

Hopefully we'll be able to upgrade the entire cluster over the next couple of months.

Cheers.

hey burnside, I'm getting "Access temporarily denied."

what up?

One of two possibilities...

Too many page loads too fast while not logged in.

-or-

Too many failed login attempts.

Both reset automatically after some time.  (The former much faster than the latter.)

Cheers.
