yes but if you set lower, sometimes if the coin is very low diff you end up with 100% rejects and then you dont get paid.
Fact: If you're getting 100% rejects with 14-25 shares/minute, then something is wrong with the server or your modem/router is junk.

As an example, I have an S9 with just 2 weak boards (the 3rd was used to make my 4-blade S9) running @ 550MHz...
2d35m24s: 7,771.75 GH/S(avg) Diff: 5.24K Rejected: 147 (and most of those are from the 1/2 dozen times it's had to failover)
S7-LN converted to 650 MHz S7: 2d1h12m26s: 4,375.35 GH/S(avg) Diff: 3.6K Rejected: 291 (the highest rate of all 8 and most of those are from the 1/2 dozen times it's had to failover)
If you need 8k to not get "100%" rejects for 4,730 GH/S(avg), then there's major issues somewhere.

They bastardized cgminer into bmminer, there's no telling what they did; but, given their general attitude of "it works more often than not, so it's good", chances are they didn't "fix" anything (they rarely ever do). ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

so are S7 users saying turning ES off and throwing diff < 8000 will limit the antminer freezing/not mining issues?

I have been mining an altcoin and the last 11 hours I have had no income, whats going on here? Those drops are not from payouts I have not received any, unpaid balance keeps getting lower! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi1070.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fu482%2FJeremy_Broderick%2Fzpoolearned_zpsddg8e5ut.jpg&t=663&c=GKxGVDDvki7zeQ)

I set queue to 0 and scantime to 1 but it wont help the locking up issue unless you had an outrageous queue.

I fixed the lockup issue by putting failover in proxy as well as in the miner. It's just the 7 server fails in like 12 hrs that I can't deal with. Hit 12 blocks during those last 2 moofs and got squat-nada for them.

those drops look like either orphans or exchange price tanking... But the earnings slope.. man... that's not funny. Its like all the sudden it just started earning pennies... I can't explain that one.... But... if I read that right... 1.5Ph? If you blast the network with crazy hashrate profitability will be up for a bit, but then diff goes throguh the roof and it plateaus out like seen.....

You read it right, but the page, itself, is wrong. It shows mine as: 54,842,979 Mh/s. If I had that, I wouldn't be dicking around with altcoins! ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)
