It seams nothing we post is adequate, Why don't you help us out. Create your own proposal for the advertising, then you can handle the advertising aspects for Darknet. As more funds are required, you can submit another proposal with your results from the first funding for the advertising.

FYI; 1.6 btc worth of Advertising is probably not enough for one month let alone a week. But I nominate 'jakiman' to handle the advertising and PR for Darknet. Head on over to Dash and look at what they spend monthly for advertising. I just did, and the spend significantly more than 1.6 btc every month.

Welcome aboard Jakiman!! Smiley

I know what you are trying to say but it's not possible to compare DASH to DNET right now.
It's like saying Walmart spends much more in advertising than your local supermarket. Tongue

I agree that 1.6 BTC isn't a lot. (if you dump that 400k instantly right now that is)
But 400K DNET sounds a lot that's all. (In relation to the total coin supply)
Anyways, I'm just saying it's just unfortunate that DNET has such a low market cap right now. Cry
I can help out with MN votes for your advertising. It's the least I can do. Wink

BTW, not sure if you noticed but I've already done more PR than anyone on the net for DNET on Twitter. So I'm certainly doing my part to help.

I follow you on Twitter, I am ALL SEEING.. Smiley (I wish) but yes, We appreciate everything the you and everyone is doing to help out where they can. We are working on the tech side, but we will soon need some people to focus specifically on exactly what @danonthehill is referencing.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Large, different, quality digital art really helps with Twitter marketing. Thats something I'm sure the community can do right here. Offer a MN worth of DNET for reward or something? As stated before investors dont mind putting up their capital but their time on the other hand is more valuable or they are not able for whatever reason. If we can donate to freelance art from the community everyone will benefit while DNET is dirt cheap.

Yeah, it would be great to have masternode creator integrated into the Qt wallet GUI.
Just input the VPS IP address, OS type & login details and it doing the rest.

Although, it's just as automatic for me now creating new masternodes.
But would be good for noobs. Heck, would be convenient even for me.

Indeed. I see the same thing in every masternode based coin community. People constantly mentioning they can not set up masternodes with vps easily or quickly enough. You want as many masternodes at as many different vps as possible.

Advertising  is okay but I wouldnt spend funds on it at this time.

Bring the price and CMC up you will get noticed. If you can back up the price with 10k masternodes and rather low inflation. They you are on to something. Still think the coin has a lot of promise. But it's the little things that can sometimes make a huge difference.

It would take approx 24 hours before you receive first payment.
From then on, it would be more regular. (Approx. every 12 hours per MN at current count)

Excellent idea IMO. Nice digital art, logos would make DNET more professional/commercial looking.
Would be best for dev to announce and provide/send bounty to the winner using the dev fund IMO.

What kind of digital art is needed?

DARKNET is not an unique word so it would be good to have maybe even a better logo or a coin design to go along with it.
Something that is easily identifiable yet simple & commercial looking. Current logo is okay but just isn't there I think.
In terms of digital art, I don't know. I'm far from a designer so have no clue what would be great until I see one. Smiley

atm i have a lot on mp-hosting (uk i guess) and some more in russia.

will also update my masternode manager with key based login and other stuff if i find the time

OK guys and gals.. I did end up finding crz that Danonthehill suggested, his work is "Outstanding", but with that quality, comes a cost. a significant one. He has asked for a budget, so I need to guage what everyone thinks.

If you want to see a sample of his work, check out this link;

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745352.0

To start he is willing to redesign the the BCT ANN, Coin Logo and Default Wallet Design.

I am sure this would take us to a higher level of professionalism, but I need to hear your thoughts before I create a budgetary proposal for his work.

I was also approached by another individual who has done some work, waiting to hear back what other services he offers (possible Wallet Gui/ Coin Logo Design)

here is his example he recently finished;

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.0

he is significantly cheaper;

give me your ideas please

IMO at this stage focus should be on implementing proposed tech and usability instead of aesthetic changes.

The Tech is happening regardless of any other options, it just takes time. We have a whole plethora of items in the works to be integrated into the wallet over the next few updates.

Yes, it takes time, I can surely understand...questioning anything related to it wasn't my intention.....I meant will it have any positive impact at this stage if a significant amount is utilized for aesthetic changes?

Well, that is a great question, and I am sure it could help to some degree, but mainly I was doing the research as I am trying to follow up on every suggestion that is posted by Masternode owners to see how viable something is.

Will anyone would be willing to help a nob how to set up a remote master node on MP-Hosting server. I've spent  many hours and sleepless nights following instructions of developer and searching this forum to make it happened. Unsuccessfully.
I went to two local IT and software developing firms- no one was able to help me .
First didn't have a clue what is crypto currency so I had to introduce him to it and he was very exited but no help with setting up nodes.
Another one said that he doesn't work with Linux there fore can't help me.
What I have:
DNET client installed on my laptop with local master node set up and running(managed)
Have putty browser and able to log it to my remote  DNET server on MP-Hosting.
What should I do next?
PS
Would gladly contribute 20000 DNET coins if I get  this sorted.

First off, you need to choose either (1) local Masternode, or option for many remote masternodes. can't do both

secondly, the VPS's from MP-Hosting have everything already installed, so you just need to move your details from your local wallet to your remote wallet
