The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Hi, I just discovered Pivx. Looks pretty hot on Bittrex!

I have a question, what would be the potential earnings for those with a Masternode?

Thanks.

Hey

atm 6.1 pivx masternode/day

check the stats page for day to day info
http://178.254.23.111/~pub/DN/DN_masternode_payments_stats.html

next inflation reduction not to far away @ block 604800

check op PoS Rewards Breakdown section

EleanorZ was faster  Roll Eyes

Thank you both!  That is exactly the information I was looking for.

Looks interesting, especially if the value of Pivx keeps increasing.

btw are the masternodes already working ? I saw some people complaining about it...

(don't forget to vote to add pivx on polo - https://www.change.org/p/poloniex-kindly-add-pivx-to-your-exchange)

masternodes are working for more than year now ....

I think you just ignore it. Orphans happens occasionally with proof of stake coins

Go to wallet repair under tools. Then use the recover transactions 1. It will remove all orphans from your transactions page.

Is it possible to have more than one PIVX wallet running on my computer ? just to spread the risk of one wallet getting corrupted etc. Would the wallets get confused having two different backup files residing in the folders ?

on Linux i know it's possible - but is more interesting to get more Masternode wallets run

just make 3-4 copies on different mediums (HDD,USB-Sticks)  of your wallet.dat regularly

Thanks for the advice, do you know what happens if I load up the same wallet/wallet.dat on another laptop, can they both be up and running at the same time ? apologies in advance if that is a really stupid question, I'm new to wallets.

don't do that with the same wallet.dat, you are causing a corrupted wallet.dat and are forking away on a another chain

but you could use the wallet.dat on another laptop, while the other wallet is closed properly
