Great idea for a campaign there, is Michigan very far from you? - I'm not sure which one to support now LOL, lots of volatility in the price - seems to be at a much better level today.

Only about 5 hours by car. I have family in the area also, which will be a great asset to executing this at a lower cost.

We are crowdfunding for the water alone. Not gas or any other expense I might incur. Every penny raised will be used for the purchase of pallets of bottled drinking water.

I have wallet.dat file saved and am trying to download the wallet to see if I can recover my holdings or not. Anyway important is good thing to see it back.

Hello jtalk, welcome back! The EGC thread has been very active most of its ~16-month life, though it did fall silent for very brief periods periodically.

You should have absolutely no problem with your early wallet.dat file unless you are a Mac user. Early versions of the Mac wallets were built with a different dependency making them not compatible if a Mac user tried to move their wallet.dat to Windows or Linux, and vice-versa. This was resolved for Mac users in version 1.4.2, but I do have versions of the Mac wallet built with both versions of the dependency so, even in this rare case, we could migrate the coins.

I've been loving the volatility of the coin - and its great to pick some cheap ones up to stake. I have every confidence the price of the coin will increase again - so have no problem in buying during any downturn.
