I'm not seeing a code in that e-mail or the other 2, they all read "We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order" before listing the data.

look where its says "APIResponse:" in the email  it should look something like APIResponse:MTGOX-USD-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX  that is your coupon code.

I got the same email

We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order

it says the funds were deposited into our accounts but instead we were given a coupon code.... I'm curious to see if your coupon code works cause mine sure didn't

NOW YOU TELL ME! Haha, I'm looking for something literally saying "Coupon Code:"

Great news on my end.

Your account has been credited by $480.05000

For F-sake, my apologies for consuming your time and I'll edit my posts to reflect that the issue of my inexperience has been resolved.

If there's any way you can get Google to not throw those confirmation e-mails into the spam folder by default it'll definitely help as newly created accounts don't even show the Spam label. That's hopefully something positive I can contribute, sorry again for the confusion.

My order (5fe0295f-fddb-4e89-8ff1-5b3be45a6b96) was processed, but took much more than one hour (after payment confirmation) to Bitinstant send the money.
I thought that if money is not sent in one hour, customers will be refunded (the fee). Didn't happen.

Hi!
I am really new to bitcoin so please apologize my ignorance Smiley

My main interest in bitcoin at the moment is getting a "feel" for mining; so i downloaded all necessary stuff for my openSUSE-box (which means i got Poclbm working and i set up my wallet with bitcoin-qt and it is synced now), but one thing does *not* work: when i start Poclbm for mining I get the error:

Code:
At least one server is required

What kind of server does the program mean? I tried googling for this, but i find no answers.

Thanks in advance!

Good to hear! now if I can just get someone to help me out with my order.....

Yankee, I provided a valid account # for a mtgox deposit. I got a email saying

"We have made a direct deposit into your MTGox account and there is no need to use the coupon system on this order"

However the funds were not deposited into my account and I was given a coupon code.

When I try to redeem the mtgox code it says "This code cannot be redeemed (non existing or already used)"

Please help me out!

If we are late, we will pay for the delay.

I acknowledge that they paying for delay. I get my money (with delay) plus fee for delay. I will use BitInstant service again because they keep their word.

I am a newb to these forums, but decided to join as I am having Bit Instant issues with the processing of my orders today, It's never happened before, so I am assuming its on their side.

Every time I try to process an order I get the "There was an identity error in generating your payment slip. "   I have tried using the regular bitcoin address option AND MTGox (which I have readon previous posts may be having issues on their side)

I am sure it's known about,  I will try to set up another effort (using regular Bitcoin address)  and give you the Quote ID stuff..

8d13cbe0-7bee-4231-92f5-86693f87c5ed is the quote ID

e1c3c01c-222f-4e3b-83ff-e8d4c12e0c9e  is the event ID.

Yep, it just failed the same way!

Thanks for even looking!

Hi all,

Two days ago, I tried to transfer money from Dwolla using Bitinstant. Unfortunately the transaction failed with an error stating a connection error with MtGox. I sent a couple of emails to Bitinstant support, and used the so-called-chat email form as well. I left message to the phone number which is reserved for urgent calls. There is still no response. Not even an acknowledgement email was sent back. My funds from Dwolla are drawn and nothing is deposited to MtGox. I am very dissapointed about this and I believe such behaviour is putting a lot of mistrust to the bitcoin and impeding its penetration.

I am hoping someone from Bitinstant will see this post and solve this issue.

Yeah, mine is going on 24 hours shortly.  Yankee (Charlie) took my order number by email AGAIN and asked me to confirm - done - now no word.  Thanks for the list of options.  I thought that most of those need to eventually go through Bitinstant anyway.  If not, which is the most direct route?

http://cryptocurrent.com is awesome. The guy responds to emails at midnight on a saturday night! Plus totally anonymous. Works great for me every time.

Hi, earlier today I deposited cash at a money gram location, but when I got home I realized that I input the wrong email for my notification email on the bitinstant form. I have a copy of the payment slip, and I can provide any information I provided to prove that it was my transaction. What do I need to do?

no...i checked my block chain wallet and the funds finally showed up at the correct destination address

Dude, how could you ever know if the funds were sent to a wrong BTC address? Are you telling me you somehow knew what this "wrong" address was by guessing it? Are you telepathic?

don't see mt.gox as an option on bitinstant anymore.
I'm guessing they pulled it temporarily to catch up with orders and such.

If BitInstant can't scale up as Bitcoin becomes a world class currency, then they deserve to fail.

Me personally?  I am finally doing what I should have done - I am verifying my MtGox account.  Then I can fund directly from Dwolla and won't have to pay 20 per $1000.  This is horse-shit.

But you are still going to use Bitinstant, right? Also when you dump funds into Dwolla they hold them for 7 days. You can't do anything.

Almost 3 days since I used bitinstant. Bitinstant support says all the DDOS'ing of mtgox has got things backed up; but not to worry, it'll eventually go through. Can't say I'm very reassured at this point. Currency trading is time-sensitive. I could understand and deal with a delay of a couple hours, but days?  The BTC industry is obviously going through some growing pains. I hope it comes out ok on the other side.

[RESOLVED] 4/2/2013 - 1:30AM -  It took four days and several attempts with support, but I received my BTC.  Unfortunately at a rate about $20 more expensive than the day ordered. Sad

Hello,

I sent money via zipzap yesterday. The transfer was to be sent to my Mt Gox account. My transfer to BitInstant went trough but I made the mistake of putting my complete Mt Gox account number into the form rather than just the number portion of the account number.

I've received a confirmation from BitInstant that the funds have been sent to Mt Gox but they are not showing up in my MT Gox account.

How do I complete the transfer of funds from BitIntant to Mt. Gox given that I made this mistake in filling out the form?

My BitInstant order number is: daede675-1e29-429d-ad9c-e9be47c619d1

Thank you.
