Sigh. Been trying to move money out of weexchange since last time I posted. No luck. It's the wallet from hell!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

This is like a fkn amateur hour that never ends.

Ukyo, make account information (name, address, e-mail etc) editable and half of your tickets will resolve themselves. Doh...

Also, you need to push forward the deadline for identification BS, you have dreamed up. Obviously you do not have the resources to get it done at acceptable speed. So why piss everyone off, just because you got an angry letter form some cunt from another country.

And for the third time, please prove, that you can follow EU Data Protection Directive and can guarantee the safety of personal information sent to you.

EU citizens can not send you personal information, especially copy/pictures of their gov issued ID cards or passports, unless YOU can prove that you can protect the information blaa blaa blaa (read the EU rules).

These things are key.

I just submited the documents for verification (2013-10-31 14:11:59) so I hope that I won't have any problem with the deadline (31 Oct).

You're joking! It will take days if not weeks! They are understaffed and have too many requests.

Ukyo - please can we get outgoing transfers sorted out and post on here when bitcoind is actually working so we know? I am retrying and retrying without getting anywhere. 75 BTC (20 stuck, the rest failing to move, put back into bitfunder temporarily) and then it's done.

So even though I am verified in weexchange and not from the US, I now get a "US Users may not Buy".
Can't trade or do anything.

Bug?

Is your IP from an ISP outside US? Or something like that?

All current BitFunder users who are not United States persons or entities must supply the information required to obtain "Verified" status on their linked WeExchange account before November 1, 2013. Any such users who fail to provide the necessary information will not be able to enter into or sell positions on the BitFunder website as of November 1, 2013.
I supplied the information required several days ago. For my understanding that means that I should still be able to trade. But I am not, because neither does Ukyo stick to his wording nor does he staff up to handle the increased load that he brought on himself.

In addition to that he still owes me the fees that I paid for a bug he was responsible for.

It becomes clearer every day that Ukyo is not able to handle such an exchange.

I too have submitted the required documents about 10 days ago, but have not been verified yet and can't trade. UKyo should have extended the grace period for as long as it would take him to process all verifications.

Bitfunder's fate was sealed when it locked out the US. Ukyo appears to be focusing his efforts on WEEX now.

Maybe because many users are stuck in validation right now.

Wow, just over 10BTC volume. Good job Ukyo.

Probably people like me that can't get verified because the system doesn't allow one to edit the details.

Is it possible to change which address is tagged as primary?

For those that don't know what's really happening is bitfunder is slowly closing down, they are just dragging this out (cant make it official yet because it will cause an epic panic).

Nothing they can do can stop them from being closed down by SEC. The only way Ukyo can avoid jail is he has a cut a deal with SEC to hand over personal details of all its users (why he wants you to send in your details now) which will be handed to sec so Ukyo can avoid jailtime.

This is the most unprofessional thing i've ever come across even when ziggap proved to be a scam Ukyo allowed ziggap to continue trading for months and months (huge violation).

I dont understand why trading is still allowed to be continued. Bitfunder will be hearing from my lawyers about this whole mess i want some compensation for the losses they caused me.

Why would the SEC care about the users??  Especially since the only ones sending information would be NON-US citizens where they have no jurisdiction anyway.

Any proof on this or just your interpretation of the facts?

This kind of things happening make me think that Bitcoin is just in the early times as the BBS was for today's Internet. We have lovely cryptography but still there's a big need for trust :/

http://bitbet.us/bet/554/bitfunder-will-close-before-july-of-2014/

Bet: BitFunder will close before July of 2014 -

The bet resolves as YES if BitFunder discontinues operation (stops allowing signup for new members altogether and/or disables BTC withdrawal either explicitly or as sufficiently reported by at least five community members) before July 1st 2014

Loads just fine in Firefox for me.

I'm getting a (valid, issued by globalsign) certificate for subject:

Quote
CN = ssl3952.cloudflare.com
O = CloudFlare, Inc.
L = San Francisco
ST = CA
C = US

The Icon in chrome is yellow. I don't get why this certificate can be valid for "bitfunder.com" (which is displayed in URL bar), maybe it isn't and that's why the icon is yellow?

How is SSL even supposed to work with cloudfare? I don't quite get it.

as an example: https://bitcointalk.org also displays a yellow ssl icon, certificate is for "www.bitcointalk.org", so that seems correct to me.
