Good morning,

is there a problem with BitFunder and WeExchange? Since this morning I am not able to log in. Worked fine yesterday. I am not getting any "error message". After providing the correct login name / pwd / 2auth and hitting "login" it just reloads the loginpage.

Strange.

That would be nice, especially with a line to show average ticker price as well.

I think they'd need a three-leg API.

Does anyone know how to run a motion on BitFunder? I can't find information on this anywhere in this thread, or on the website. Am I really the first person to ask about this? I need to run a motion for TU.SILVER's next silver purchase.

My 35 coins are missing:/

Opened WeExchange account: took 9 hours to get the email but working now.
Logged in and added ButFunder Auth-Token in Direct Exchange-> Merchants

Sent 35 BTC from my wallet to WeExchange -> OK.
Moving 35 BTC from WeExchange to Bitfunder -> Not showing up (1 hour and  counting)

The text "Note: Click HERE to setup your account to deposit and withdraw BTC!" still showing up on top of the dashboard in BitFunder. Every time I click on it I get a different Auth-Token (which I didn't touch anymore, since I had already added the first one to my WeExchange account).

Can you have a look please if there is something wrong with the system?

This is showing in WeExchange:

2013-04-28 15:24:00    Instant Payment To: BitFunder          Completed

Date
Transaction ID    nEAPMiaa2QNb1cuWtEsJFa3mrCF1OCUG

That's what I did, no response so far. I hope they can really start looking into this, this was supposed to go into AM shares.
Luckily I sent "just" 35 BTC and not more than that.

Edit: Problem solved, WeExchange customer support staff fixed the link between WeExchange and Bitfunder.

Added new feature:

New per-asset FAQ system enabled.

Asset pages have an "Asset FAQ's" link in the asset menu bar at the top.

Issuers can now edit the asset profile and add/update FAQ's.

Hopefully this will help people to not have to constantly go looking for answers.
At least.. all the time. Wink

Have fun.

Hey Ukyo, I've been a WeEx/BitFunder user for a couple months now.  I usually hang out in the chat on CoinVisitor and give market advice/advertise BitFunder and a lot of people have come back to me saying they don't want to bother with the exchange because of the 0.1 min transfer (many of them are just casual bitcoiners that just want to play with securities).

Are you guys thinking about decreasing this minimum if you reach a certain trade volume?  I figure y'all have some tradeoff between server load from transfers vs. additional trading income, so if that's the case, do you have any numerical goals or benchmarks for the future where we might see that lower minimum?  I think 0.05 would be way more manageable for more casual users...plus you guys could pull in more trading revenue (and do it more frequently).  Personally, I don't really have a problem with the current minimum because I've got the funds, but I'd like to see the exchange grow (plus I figure you guys might be able to give a lower transaction/sell fee with enough users added).

Thanks and keep up the great work with the exchange.  The user interface is ridiculously easy to use.

One more feature request:  can you guys add monthly or even 15-day moving averages for asset prices along with monthly P/E ratios?

Difficulty-based beta values would be cool too.  Makes the exchange more like a NASDAQ or NYSE

Hmm, honestly for now the rates need to stay where they are.

I do have plans to update the market page (which I consider ugly) customizable per account, as well as a nice interactive custom dashboard with all kinda goodies.

This just takes time, and while there are far far more things currently in BitFunder that is in the works/mostly working/early stages, I try to do as much testing on each thing before finally releasing it. Also, I have something very big in the works right now in the world of Bitcoin, and honestly a little devoted to that for the next few weeks, however I expect it will not only be big for Bitcoin, but will end up driving a lot of new interests to BitFunder as well, both users and newer assets.

Very exciting times. Smiley

The recent FAQ thing was not exactly fully features as I would like, since it has categories, and placement indexing built in, but not enabled at the moment.
I went ahead and enabled it as is because of the stale feeling I was getting from the site and there were lots of requests for such a feature.

I do have about 2 larger features mostly ready for BitFunder, but they need a few supporting pieces for them to be a 'Go', and since they interact with users funds, etc I want to make sure I have the time reserved to watch both the beta test and the launch like a hawk.

When it comes to BitFunder, these two larger projects are my main focus for code. And I do constantly work on them even if you cannot see them.

Also, for those who have not played with or seen it, you can enable websocket order book updating from the settings page.
This means that if you are endlessly staring at an assets order books of buy and sell orders, if someone adds, changes, cancels, (or completes a trade) an order, you will see the page change live. During the busy time's it is quite fun to watch people move the orders around for AM. Smiley

I've only done a bit of engineering coding, nothing serious, so I can only imagine how long the coding takes.  Keep up the good work.

Hi Ukyo,

Unfortunately it seems we may have another scammer using your exchange.

Diablo has decided to change, suddenly and completely, the terms of his DMC asset.

He's reneged on his promise to buy back shares, forcing all shareholders into either an exchange for AM (at less than the per DMC share value) or a bond to raise money for his latest hopelessly futile pie-in-the-sky shenanigans.

The problem with the 1:11 exchange (besides undervaluing DMC in terms of AM) is that allows him to steal DMC's 1000 shares of BTCMC.

His position is that they are "worthless" but Yochdog disagrees, and I've offered to buy the BTCMC shares from him (as has burnside).

Should he not relent from this course of action, I suggest locking the asset and letting us poor shareholders take over, as we've been forced to do with BAKEWELL.
