Yes true, currently bitcoin is the best investment because the users is increased so the price will increase, but I agree that bitcoin is never change or replace fiat money, because the government will protect fiat money.
in fact in present condition bitcoin is not in position to replace fiat, because majority of people are still using fiat as their main currency therefore i do not think that is possible in next some decades to replace fiat. you never know when it happens,they will just announce it suddenly,like they do when happens hyper inflation,so keep bitcoin till that time,it will help you retire wisely and soon  We just need to keep fighting for it. We do not know what will happen tomorrow, government might bump their minds that bitcoin can really help the entire country so they gonna use it as primary currency, though it takes time to happen and need more studies but who knows. Nope Bitcoin is not the best investment there is maybe when it was price under 100$ it is but right now I would stay away putting my money in Bitcoin at its current price range. Right now there are dozens of good stocks you can buy that has a good growth into it. Growth stocks are way more safer compared to Bitcoin. Because the margin of safety is big eith companies growing their businesses. |

So making bitcoin as an official currency surely won't be enough. And the time needed to accept it can be very long. You can take the exemple of the euro currency, up to know there are people, mainly senior, still facing problem or confused about the value of things, as compared to the old currency. Most of people still convert to thei old currency to see how things cost. Using as the only internationnal currency can be worste considering the time to see it adopted, and maybe will never happen

I somewhat disagree with this point of view In many countries, and especially those where local currencies are not very stable overall, people often calculate prices in some other, let's call it "hard" currency (in most cases it is the ever green ever present US dollar). And the prices of many expensive items such as houses, automobiles or apartments are set directly in some other foreign currency. No one is forcing all these people to do so apart from economic (financial) situation in their countries. As the proverb goes, necessity is the mother of invention, so I don't think the issues you raise in your post are really important |

The primary goal of BTC originally was to replace fiat currencies? As I recall, BTC creator(s) was looking for the freedom to not rely on a Central Bank as the "keeper" of BTC value. The ability to let the market decide its worth and applications, without governmental control.
Is this enough to replace a fiat currency? I don't think so because our world isn't developed enough yet to go totally digital on currencies.

There are some possibilities that bitcoin can replace fiat, in some countries especially European countries do believe that in the near future bitcoin will be used by all people. In fact a place in Europe use bitcoin as the sign of exchange on some material things they buy such as in grocery stores, food and drinks in some bars. And there are some experts who believes that there is a big chance that bitcoin can replace fiat it is because bitcoin is flexible I mean by flexible is that it has more advantages that fiat money such as Privacy protection, free to transfer and hold and freedom to transact and many more.

We cannot replace fiat with bitcoin because it has a fluctuated price in the market and I don't think it can be recognized by business owners who wanted stable income, specially nowadays competition is still an outbreak. So don't be discourage because bitcoin still can be a source of sustainable fiat cash, that can be use for your daily life spending on important things which you really needed.
