Where did you first heard about Bitcoins?

I found bitcoin on my own sort of by accident. Soon after Poker Black Friday(April 15, 2011), I was searching for a new place to play online poker from the US and I found a poker site called SealsWithClubs which used bitcoin. I had no clue what the hell this bitcoin thing was at the time other than it was worth something and could be exchanged with US$ and that I could play online poker in the US with it on that poker site.

If it hadn't been for the US Department of Justice shutting down Pokerstars and Fulltilt Poker in the US, who knows when I might have discovered Bitcoin if at all. Thank You, USDOJ.

My friends told me about it. And they already use it and first I dont trust it so that is why I didnt use it.
But around this time I love to use Bitcoin. It is a very good payment method and it works very well and that is very good.

I think every one seems to have the same response about first time their firend tell about bitcoin. they will not be interested and did not believe the bitcoin, I also like that originally.
I will say that you should try it yourself to believe in bitcoin

Yeah its good to ask questions an learn something new, as this forum allows you to learn almost anything related to bitcoin, it will add value to your knowledge.

Well i were an old member of some ptc sites i guess i had some ads talking about bitcoins,dont remember well.Then i had searched a bit about it ,a few months later,and i found i could mine it and being able to make some easy income,as i didnt pay any energy cost at the lan house of my friend,we were going to start it but the machine were too expensive and well its good we havent made it because he closed the store doors this year soo ,with the current price of energy where i live only if bitcoin goes above 600 dollars i guess it would be able to roi the investment.

i cane to know about bitcoin on 2010 when i was watching discovery channel i saw an interview about bitcoin where one boy was saying he lost all his bitcoin because he lost his private key at first i thought it was intresting because it was related to kiney but soon i changed the channel and it disappeared but after somedays when i find it in a blog then i researched about it a little and found what really it is and after that i was amazed and today i am addicted to it

I first heard about the bitcoin from a friend that was already buying stuff with it, digital stuff and it was pretty cool what he explained me.
So now I'm also doing the same thing and I love the bitcoin!

im heard it too. people says Bitcoin Is "the magic money" and the hideline is "the magic money dead now" because bitcoin price fail from $1000 to under $300

i have first read about bitcoin on a forum not related to cryptocurrency at all but the real thing was my friend that introduced me to bitcoin, and everything i know i owe them to him that introduced me to bitcoin and helped me with starting my wallet and using bitcoin.
