We had some minor sync glitches in V1.8 , so we cleaned it up and added some more nodes and created V.1.9.0. Its a mandatory update.

Youll also need to update your flycoin.conf . Just have these addnodes only. Clear all others, and maybe delete your peers.dat to ensure your on the correct chain.

add these addnodes:

addnode=167.114.224.79
addnode=167.114.224.82

Not being critical, but is this going to be the last wallet update for a while?
EVERY time I update the wallet, the last 3 updates anyways, it fails. Simply quits. I end up having to dump the private keys, install the new wallet from scratch (which always works!) and then import the keys again.
First world problems, I know 

Perhaps the best course of action is to leave my V1.8 wallet closed for a couple of weeks? Give the update time to be tested?
Opinions gratefully received.

Groggin you may need to delete everything in roaming/fly except for wallet.dat and flycoin.conf and resync. Doesnt take long.

Hi Asicrefugee. I found a simple way around this that has worked for me everytime. Of course dump your priv key as a saftey meassure. But..

1. Delete everything from flycoin/roaming
2. Create a fresh flycoin.conf with the new addnodes
3. create a shortcut to fly.exe (if you dont have one).
4. Get properties on the shortcut and at the end of the target box add -zapwallettxes=1

Example target box should look like this: C:\Users\Vegasguy\Desktop\Fly\FlyCoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes=1

(your username and flycoin.exe in the above example will be different, just focus on the zapwallettxes=1)

Then double click shortcut.

This method has never failed me.

I intentionally added the zapwallettxes command to fly for this reason, because its more powerful than repairwallet and rescan combined, without losing any coins.

This weekend all 3 of our devs are coming together to finish the last part of the most major update that will include:

Free withdrawals for all. No more manual exemptions.
"stake to self" , no fees. Stake to any other outside address 20% fee to superfly.
Compatibility with our new website, so people can buy our wallets and bootstraps.
Also I need to recheck the superblock percent chances. 2x is 10% and I feel that someone should have hit one by now, but to my knowledge , I dont know of any.

So this is major for us , as it keeps the antidump in place, and allows anyone to buy and withdraw fly from the exchange.

I was wondering the same thing.
700 blocks - I would have expected at least 70 - 100 superblocks,
most being in the 2x range. Let us know if you are finding Superblocks.

I wish there was a way for me to earn a couple here and there to get there sooner.  I am however over 100 at least

I might drop the min to 200 fly to write articles on my site. It pays 2 fly per article about anything crypto related and new coins coming out, and you can write as many as you want. Takes about 3 min to write an article. They all use the same format, and are about 12 lines long. Anyone can do it. No programming knowledge required. It looks much like MS word. So if you can write in msword, then you can write in wordpress.

After crashing my wallet, and also crashing after importing privkey, it was the last chance to fix my wallet.

Vegasguy, I am awesome thankful, to had this zapwallet command! You are really genius.

So this is what I did.

1. I copied my wallet.dat file
2. I deleted all in my fly roaming folder
3. I downloaded new wallet
4. I opened wallet until new fly roaming folder created
5. I shut down wallet
6. I went into roaming and copied flycoin.conf file into folder
7. I put my wallet.dat file into roaming folder
8. I opened wallet
9. Nothing happens

In my case,
Closed wallet
I deleted roaming (except wallet.dat and had a separate backup copy of wallet.dat)
Added .conf file with new nodes
     addnode=167.114.224.79
     addnode=167.114.224.82
downloaded new wallet
put shortcut on desktop - went to properties of shortcut and added zapwallet command
    C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\Wallet\FlyCoin\FlyCoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes=1
opened and waited.
10 minutes later it opened and was fine

Note:
The 1st time I tried, I thought it was not running and closed it which corrupted the wallet.dat
   (back up wallet)
Repeated above and checked the arrow on bottom right of programs running.
Fly wallet was there so while it appeared nothing was happening, it was working.
