Not very good at compiling things or Linux, but will try following the instructions.
That won't be necessary, I misunderstood what you wrote and thought you already had a Linux machine and a Windows machine. I have done my own testing and am convinced the rejects problem was introduced in v3.2. Now I just have to fix it.. Edit: I am tracking this issue in my thread and have posted an update. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.msg15045809#msg15045809

Around about February/March next year is when my HOdl Term Deposits will mature and I can access my nuts, that time will be a completely different story compared to now. There's only one thing to do till then.... HODL I think most of the term deposits mature around that time, it will be interestig to see who will keep on hodling and who will dump For that reason I did all mine less than a year, that's going to be a lot of HODL hitting the market at once and I didn't want to make matters worse.

cpuminer-opt v3.3.2 is released. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0lVSGQYLJIZczlQLV93RnUzV1U- Fixed low difficulty shares mining hodl - Changed minimum CPU requirement for AES optimized mining, now requires a CPU with AES and AVX1. This excludes first generation AES CPUs like Nehalem and similar AMD. These CPUs can still mine using SSE2 optimizations. - Updated build.sh and README.md Windows users may want to wait until Cryptomining Blog build binaries for v3.2.2. A download link will be posted when it becomes available.

Wow! Thats really cool, I hope it brings some more attention to HOdlcoin! I hope the this hashrate increase is not nicehash work. The nicehash minimum limit is way to high for a slow hashing algo like HOdl. This will be disruptive but ultimately good for the long term prospects of the coin and the algo. Currently Nicehash is mining at around 700KH which more than doubles the current network hash rate. At the moment it's still a mess but when things settle down and if Nicehash realizes the screw up with the minimum limit things should improve.

Hello, If anyone is interested in renting Hodl hashing power to mine HodlCoin even without having physical miners: we added Hodl algorithm to NiceHash. Full news is here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=news&id=77Feedback welcome. Best regards, NiceHash team.

See my previous post, fix the minimum limit. Edit: it seems I was mistaken. The limit is actually 1 kH, not 1 GH, much better.

fyi: latest cpuminer-opt-3-3-2-windows binaries from cryptomining-blog sadly still generate low diff refused shares (tested with cpuminer-amd.exe and cpuminer.exe and an A6-6400K, 0/5 accepted till i quit and started using wolfs miner again)

Could you be more specific? There are two seperate issues one I'm still working on. 1. occasional low diff shares mixed with mostly valid shares always, should be fixed in 3.3.2. 2. All low diff shares from startup occasionally, still working on fix, stop and restart miner should work.

i got low diff shares only on this machine, so most likely number 2. tried your suggestion to restart the miner (even multiple times), still the same result sadly - mining starts with diff 8 (as on every start) - factor reduced to 0.XX after the first reject - more rejected shares with low diff (to be precise diff is always 0.0019530951976776123) see http://ctrlv.in/764598 for screen br
