We are looking good in my eyes. The initial people that didn't believe in the coin are gone. The coins matured and they dumped already. If we can make it through May with positive reports on yobit, I believe this damn thing will take off!

I think its all about the one annoying feature that most people want gone.
When its gone, alot of people will find this coin interesting again.
Most people like this coin, but wont get engaged in it as long as the autohodl feature is there.

The possibility to hodl their coin for profits is awesome. Forcing them.. not so awesome Tongue

So if anyone with the right skills could use some of their spare time to help with the coding, it should be only up from here Smiley

We are all waiting for that day. 8^]

BTW you can also trade on BitSquare P2P exchange, I added the code a few months ago. It's OK for buying at a fixed price but selling is not so easy because of price variation. Normally with Bisq you can set a price as percentage difference from market price but this doesn't work with HOdlcoin because there is no price feed available in the program.

Still, better than nothing.

Here's the second year's chart for term deposit bonuses - added to the main ANN post too.

Soon it should be possible to get a better estimate of what the overall supply will look like. I think it'll be on the lower side of estimates.

Total Coin Supply is difficult to estimate because it depends heavily on how much hodling is happening at the bonus rates. I've taken a look at the latest data and made a new estimate. While previously we were reporting 700m on Coinmarketcap, 250m is likely much closer to the true number - that's the amount I anticipate after 3 years, when all the bonus rates have finished. From there there will be a 5% to 10% inflation rate depending on how much hodling takes place.

I've updated the Total Coin Supply figure based on the latest data in the money supply url so this should feed through to CMC shortly.

Many thanks - just for clarification - is your hashrate based on the wallet or Optiminer pool?

I use Hodlminer Wolf and Optiminer pool
  8 thread  Ryzen  ~520 hash/s  ( 16 thread 800 hash/s )

I have great comfort after changing from my i7 to Ryzen. 8 threads mine hodl, and the rest supports wallets and several dozens of pages
in Chrome, Opera and Firefox and Windows 10 Smiley

I took a glimpse at his calculations and can say that he's about right. But not in everything. For instance, there are no coins held by real people at the time of this writing. Most coins were dispersed between addresses controlled by one single guy. I assume freetrade is the character that owns these addresses. When ur comrades realize he screwed up the distribution he will be taking the bullets mark my words.

While the web frontend for hold.optiminer.pl is "up and down like a yoyo" mining seems to always work, even when the frontend ist down. So, just mine to the pool and observe hodlcoins as they come in to your wallet.
