Because the price is stable now and there is nothing going to happen, maybe it will rise after the halving or something.

Why should you know sell everything ? There is no reason to do that, or you must be in emergency. But that will not happen.
Most people also think that it will be more worth and that we can sell it later with some profit. But that is hard to know that.

well, with the upcoming block halving ahead of us it is expected that the price will continue to rise with probably a peak before the day the block halving is active. if you have enough patience it is a good choice to keep holding your coins at least untill that day. if you can't wait because you have to sell for personal reasons, then you can sell at whatever price you want. |

There is no proper reason to sell everything right now. If you ask why need to hold there is a reason of holding till halving to get high profit.

If i had some altcoins mined i would dump them before the bitcoin pump that will happen on the next months.
That's the case for not-so-known altcoins but if you are mining bitcoin itself I think it's worth holding, The price does dip sometimes but I still consider it a decent investment to hold BTC. |

I don't think it's smart to sell are you BTC's at once and not at a great price, Bitcoin is growing and even if you are decreasing your investment profile in it selling all your BTC seems excessive IMO.

Sell everything if you really need the money disregarding the price, example if you have an emergency or urgent needs.
Halving won't help you if you are waiting for it to sell your coins but some emergency matters happen in your side.
Besides you can still accumulate coins again. Halving effect are not present at the moment.

Some situations may force you to sell your porfolio,but i believe with the aproaching of the halving the altcoins will be pumped and will be dumped into lower levels,soo you should consider that before sell or not if i hold too many coins i would dump them before the market start to dump to get full at bitcoin.

You just need to buy it as trading as usual. and if the price rises or pump. you can sell all altcoin you have, but the problem is to choose a potentially altcoin Yes trading on this moment should be much better than sell now on this moment, the value is not that high now. So it wont be that worth if you are going to sell it these days. It is better to wait for later. When the value will be much higher, but it can takes a long time. |

So, to make a interim conclusion: We have passed almost one fourth of the year and nothing what RBS predicted has happened so far. The stock markets recovered from the first bad weeks of the year and everythink seems to be fine. The Fed is thinking about to increase to interest in the next meetings. I do not see such a catastrophic scenario ahead.

Those is USA i suppose Europe are broken,Brazil facing several problems related to Petrobras that is getting people outside that were involved on the system of corruption and i believe those all will be jail over the next months ,cleaning the house,soo the sell if is related to altcoins may be the right moment so sell them before the people dump their coins to go to bitcoin full.

well it depends on the person really. if they rather just settle not risking on wanting to lose more, or gain it back etc for waiting xyz days. So its more of a situational thing. |

Selling at this price is a good decision if the user is in need. Else holding till halving makes him happy with upcoming price. At least $500 will be reached on halving from most speculations.

One example is Ethereum. I sold most of mine at $1.2. It is $10 now. Ethereum was surely an interesting ride with all the hype and the big rise. but that is just an exception of a very big rise in a short time. the rest of the coins aren't that profitable. |
