I'd really love to see the lisk foundation fund a second client led by an independent team. The progress has been too slow and I'm honestly as frustrated as you guys here.

By looking at commits in Github, I don't know what Oliver does all day. It looks like he stops coding and does other things. Max has a lot of money to hire competent developers.
For example, if Max who buy from the team or are looking for people from outside to replace Oliver, but not recklessly to choose someone not, must be truly reliable ..

Has something happened to Oliver? He's been completely absent from Lisk chat, community meetings,...

Oliver is a developer and not a communicator.
His work you can pursue on GitHub, for example: https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk/commits/development
His blog post today: https://blog.lisk.io/cleaning-up-our-github-organization-and-enhancing-documentation-d235dc822a19#.psm23etnv
And sometimes he is also chat. Not as often as others, but enough. And at any time you can send him a direct message, he will answer.

Most trolls I already ignore.
But the question of @bitbitch to Oliver was okay I find, so I replied.

Cleaning up our GitHub Organization and enhancing Documentation

After revealing our plans for the Lisk SDK; we are preparing the next steps in order to start moving forward in terms of development. This involves archiving deprecated repositories and increasing visibility on the ones we actively work on. We have also consolidated and enhanced our documentation as you can read below.

A new, temporary place for documentation

Started as a community effort the Lisk Wiki has developed into an extensive compendium for information regarding the Lisk ecosystem. We at the Lisk Foundation have set ourselves the goal to expand on this effort as much as possible. Consequently, we have moved all of the Lisk documentation to it. This includes our API, handbooks, technical reference, installation and upgrade guides.

WTF !?!?   Shocked

Can you please tell me why you think "we" should chase all delegates away???  and only have pools?

I believe that we should rather get a nice ratio of around 40% pools, 60% delegates that are real do'ers for lsk

No reason, HQ already stated it was fine for a few pools to occupy the 101, and I think the 9 we have is plenty; if not a few too many.

if whales lose their interest in lisk, then lisk is gone.

What you mean with Whales?
You also had the chance to install a node and get a delegate.
Everyone could have tried that.
But apparently you did not want.

The bulk of the top 101 delegates own less than what they forged! Whales we not. A few are, but mostly not!
Nearly anyone can still forge if an effort is put forth.
There is no problem with PoS or DPoS imho, because those with a larger stake DESERVE a larger say.
This is the same in any corporate board structure.
Why should we let the guy with 3 Lisk in his wallet have the same voting power as the guy with 3 million?
That would be unfair. If you want a larger say in the matter of who forges, increase your stake.
Lisk isn't Obamacare.

PoW is much worse... your stake is in your hashpower, which decreases constantly against an ever increasing difficulty; not to mention the fact it is super wasteful with electricity.

@ MrPresident, You don't like Obamacare?  Wink

But yes, you're right. Anyone can do that, also with Lisk

There are also many active delegates who don't have many LSK, which are not whales.
But these people have contributed to Lisk over a year (testnet, github, PR, communication, coding and so on) and now they are in the top 101. That's also fair!

true dat!

no, don't like Obamacare hahah, the morning after they signed the bill, every welfare recipient with a scratch or sniffle was lining up at local hospitals thinking they had to hand out free drugs & Obama lollipops.
roflmao, now, my HC plan costs over 670 a month and I still get herded through like cattle.

Bubble: Beside the complete non sense of your accusation, why don't reveal your true identity? Why do you need a newbie account you purposely created to forment an accusation against one of the oldest community member who tries his best to spread Lisk awareness? Who knows... maybe you're the one who created these multiple accounts... I call this cowardice.
