If I remember correctly Crypti submited an application to add it to the M$ Azure. Is Lisk going to do the same? If yes, when? Soon after main launch or in an unknown future? And what if MS will add Crypti will there be still a chance for Lisk in this matter?

We can't disclose any information about partnerships before they are sealed. However, you should read this news article. Smiley

Max, that is a one interesting article.

So are these blog posts by Marley Gray, Director, Technology Strategy US Financial Services,  Micorsoft Azure Blockchain-As-A-Service Project.

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blockchain-as-a-service-update/
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-baas-update-2/
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blockchain-as-a-service-update-3/
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/azure-blockchain-as-a-service-update-4/

You know, Max, maybe you should try to email ole Marley and get Lisk onboard Micorsoft Azure Blockchain-As-A-Service........

It could possibly make Lisk just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit more valuable......

Just a crazy idea I had.  Roll Eyes

How do i get the facebook/ twitter bounty? I "like"/ follow you, and then?

edit: can´t subscribe for newsletter. fix it, please

Just like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter. Once a week we collect our likes/followers and write them into a list. Once the mainnet will launch, we will then get in contact with you on these social media channels and will ask for your Lisk address.

Newsletter subscription works for me and over 600 other people. Which browser do you use and is there any block plugin active?

Indeed, it worked for me. I had to whitelist the website on the Disconnect plugin though Wink.

We just released a small example dapp into the Dapp Store. The Lisk Guestbook. Just leave your entry and say hello to the decentralized application world! More will follow! Smiley

Just go to https://login.lisk.io/, login with a random passphrase and go to the Dapp Store. There are no fees associated with the dapp, please don't spam.

Quick ICO question for the devs here. For those with XCR on Polo or Bter, will you be in contact with those exchanges to make sure their wallets are updated and transfers work properly? I know some folks have had issues with coins lost in transit from bter, for instance.

I find myself with some extra XCR in bter right now... not a ton, but extra dumped to my buys that I didn't expect ... unsure if I should sell while their flaky exchange is still working, or just hold them for the swap. I'd feel better if I knew coins could be moved from there instead of just 'vanishing'.

Hey, valid question. Thank you. Smiley

1.) The ICO is still 10 days away and will go on for 4 weeks. That means you will have 40 days to withdraw the funds from the exchanges and send them to the ICO address.

2.) We advise everyone to immediately withdraw the XCR funds from the exchanges. We can't promise that they will work in the last weeks of the ICO.

3.) Next week we will contact the exchanges and talk with them, in order to re-activate the XCR withdrawals. Unfortunately, Cryptsy is dead forever. About Bter and Poloniex I'm optimistic that we can get them working again at least for a few days before the ICO ends.

BUT! I don't promise anything, I don't want to be responsible if the withdrawal isn't working. So please keep an eye on it and check the withdrawal from time to time. You can assume that we try our best to fix the XCR withdrawals at the exchanges. Smiley

Bter withdrawals should work. Poloniex is being DDOS'ed right now, as far as I know.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed they just had issues due to ETH trading at insane volumes.

This is probably the case. I'm just cautious here. Smiley

Something about security on Poloniex.

Poloniex don't use Security Headers or HSTS. That's one indication about how serious they take security. Check: https://securityheaders.io/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fpoloniex.com
Kraken e.g. uses everything except "Key Pinning". But "Key Pinning" can brick your site completely, so I understand that they don't use it.

Something MTGOX, Cryptsy and Co. learned us: Never leave your coins on an exchange (especially Poloniex), if not necessary.

Something MTGOX, Cryptsy and Co. learned us: Never leave your coins on an exchange (especially Poloniex), if not necessary.

The problem right now is that Polo is working like a slug, and removing coins from Bter is sort of a 'who knows' situation if they'll actually be sent.

The ICO thing complicates matters, as I expect a decent number of ICO investors (not owning XCR) will buy XCR during ICO time (so will then need to move XCR from the exchange to ICO address) .... some XCR owners may be undecided, so will leave their XCR on the exchange in case they do wish to sell some off (probably only time there will be enough volume to do so).

It's a formula that basically equates to: a lot of XCR on the exchange, and a lot of people that will want to send their coins to the ICO address. I just hope it's all moveable when the ICO time comes.

EDIT:  what does "Lisk" mean, if anything?

Max has said Lisk is an abbreviation for "obelisk" -
"tapering, four-sided shaft of stone, usually monolithic and having a pyramidal apex".

Not to be confused with German professional triathlete,
National Elite Champion of the year 2010,
and permanent member of the German Kader (National Team)...

Ricarda Lisk !

Max:  Maybe Ricarda has a cryptocoin sponsorship in her future???
