Why not hype AFTER the ICO is over ?

Huh.  Great idea.  I will.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

I use w10 with Edge. The download keys button was not working. Nothing happened when I pushed the button.

I wrote down the passphrase, Address and the public key before I clicked the accepted button.

Is that OK or am I lost now  Huh

I confirm. Better start hype after ico. When coin is on exchange. Dev owns a lot of premine coin..enough for further development.
And 750btc for this project is a nice startup funding for the devs. Congratulations Wink

You should have copy and pasted the text onto a Notepad document.

If you wrote it down by hand, you better pray that you got it completely right and that you did not typos.  Remember that on the private keys part it is CaSe sensitive and if you did not got your private key completely right then you have lost your funds, since it would then be not possible to recover your funds anymore. ... sorry about that.

Keep your document in a safe place, do not loose that sheet.  You will get to see if you got everything down correctly once genesis block is generated on day 0 and get to import that private key onto the Windows client (if they are going to operate that way, etc).

Disclaimer:
Nothing I have said here is gospel, if you got your private keys wrong the developer might have another way of helping you that I dont know about yet.  If you are in doubt you should contact the developer and ask them the question.

//EDIT:
I need to clarify something on:
"The download keys button was not working. Nothing happened when I pushed the button."
Please check your Download folder, when you click on that button a .txt file gets downloaded with all the information on it.  At least that's what happened to me, no prompt, nothing gets shown when pressing that button, the file gets automatically downloaded and saved, at least under Mozilla Firefox which was my browser of choice when I made the purchase.

You may want to check EDGE download history if you dont see anything in your \DOWNLOAD folder.  Your \DOWNLOAD folder is typically located in:
C:\USERS\Your_Windows_User_Name\Downloads
Check THIS folder and look for a file called:
\lisk-1462xxxxxxxxxxxxx291L.txt
If you see this file there, please save it in a very secure location, do NOT lose this file, it contains your wallet, password (that multi word mnemonic, and your private key).

I am interested in becoming a Lisk delegate when the network gets launched on March 21, 2016.

I would like to know what are the requirements to run a DPoS node?

I am fully qualified and have all the resources it can possibly be needed to run anything on a computer.  As a professional computer tech, I can get any hardware that I need in order to get ready for the event, but I will need to know what I will need in advance so that by March 21st I can be fully ready.

I understand that only the first 101 Delegates (or Miners -- seeing it in Bitcoin lingo) will be the ones participating so I would like to know what are the things that will significantly increase my chances of winning the vote as one of these delegates.

Are the delegates responsible for maintaining an absolute 100% (or close to) up time on the node at all times (because if so, I will have no problems complying with this).

Also, I managed to add the signature lines (on the past few days I was adding the signature manually on each post I was doing, but I eventually figured out how to do it properly from the settings).

Thanks for the info.

Another question I have, What are the minimum system requirements for running a DPoS node/
Hard drive Space:
Amount of RAM:
CPU speed+number of cores:
Network Bandwidth:

Can this be something I can setup on ultra cheap minimalist hardware?  If so, can you give me example on what I can buy since anything that I have to buy needs to be done now in order to be ready for the March 21 event.

Thanks.

I just want to be prepared with the equipment at hand with everything installed and ready to go so that on Day 0 I can signup with no delay.

//EDIT:
To add to my question:
Will there be lots of random data seeks on the DPoS node that we will be running?  (example: Running an Rippled (which is another platform/coin) validator requires an SSD due to fast random data seeks), so therefore will an SSD hard drive be required or highly advisable?  Or can I get away with a regular 7,200 RPM "mechanical" hard drive?

Is there a limit to the number of nodes I can run under the same IP address?  Is there anything that would stop me from wanting to run multiple nodes under the same IP address?

A simple question. (Sorry for my bad english)

I want to send more btc for Ico. I did it during first hours.
Can I simply add them, or the account used for the first day has not to be used anymore?

Thank you

If I understand correctly, the more participants in the ICO, the less coins each investor will get.  Then why are you hyping the ICO ?

To get the word out that even while investors get fewer coins as others join our community, those fewer coins become worth more to protect and preserve the value of their investment.

Hey!  I think I came up with another elevator pitch for the Lisk ICO!

I am hyping the ICO because the more donors Lisk has, the more code development funds will exist to make a great project even better.

What's not to be excited about in "Lisk = 100,000 Javascript programmers writing personal blockchain dapps that run on their own cooperative network of $9 CHIP computers" ?

Who wouldn't want to get in on the ground floor of something as revolutionary as THAT?

News Flash: The average Joe doesn't know WTF is Javascript, Personal blockchain Dapps, cooperative network, nor how to use a $9 chip computer.

So... cool it down a bit with your non-sense elevator bitches.

News Flash: We all know that in a year for example people wont even know the backend of Dapps and only will use the frontend , from games all the way to things like Slock.it

Dev, I am willing to run one or more nodes/delegate in the top 101. I own a hosting company in Europe and have powerful machines and hardware available (windows and linux). And technical staff to maintain the equipment.

Currently we host many full nodes (and masternodes) for other coins, in-house.

Uptime last year (2015) of our highspeed datacenter = 99.980%. For more info, PM me.

Where to find more information for setting up Lisk delegate?

It will soon be like a presidential election. You have to run and collect vote campaign Grin

with a poor campaign, no one will vote for you.

The Delegates are choosen by the community, so even with 0 Lisk you can become a Delegate, If your in the Top 101 you need indeed uptime or you miss your block and people will eventually remove your vote,

Im going to run for delegate aswell, so Helping the communitie and show that you wanna help is a good start!

Good luck running for Delegate.

Is that true ? There is no bond required to become a delegate ?

Yes that is true, people just need to vote on you then.

But how do you prevent people from running a load of delegates then ?

By getting more votes then them thats the only way.

I am interested in becoming a Lisk delegate when the network gets launched on March 21, 2016.

That doesn't actually make any sense though.
I setup 50 delegates (on the botnet i controll so all vic machines that i don't pay nothing for), come to the forum with my 50 personalities and play nice. What ya gonna do about that ?
