You guys think it's possible to start a Kickstarter or crowdfunding to get funding to start a site like coinbase that's exclusively for Lisk? It would need to raise enough money for lawyers and filing fees, money transmitter etc for different states and countries. Idk I'm just throwing out ideas.
very good idea.. and yes i think this is possible to fund such a project... Yeah thats an awesome idea for Lisk. Just like coinbase but Lisk instead of bitcoin. I vote for this  I think a better idea would be an answer to LocalBitCoins: an OTC market that combines selling Lisk with sellers explaining/evangelizing it. You could prolly duck out of (most of) the money-transmitter paperwork as OTC markets are traditionally un- or only lightly regulated. |

I vote for this For Kickstarter someone would have to build a rough draft of the site sort of like a prototype and business plan etc.. I can help out with graphics if anyone wants to do this. id be down if it wasent a retarded idea. who da fuck would use a coinbase type wallet for a stock ? it's a trading token lol, and i personally would never let a third party control my keys, (like coinbase) this will spend it time on an exchange, waiting ofr each sellers personal sell price. there lisk will it till each user sells, it will only transfer out if we have something to buy (like btc) It's only a retarded idea to you because you don't take lisk serious. Like i do. Things like this add value to projects. Most of you guys just sit on your ass and wait for devs to do things. Ethereum is doing so well because the community is working on projects adding to the overall value. Guess I'll just stop talking about my retarded ideas. You can´t say it better  |

I'd love to see $1-$2 but I know that the delay screwed a lot of us over, by keeping our money out of our hands for two months. I think a lot of people need their funds quickly and will sell for less than $1 |

Thanks. V1 was modeled all in 3D Studio Max, 20,000 trees and 10,000 people moving around on the decks, though they're hard to see after the first few seconds. V3 is a cool design but I'd rather have the foliage and park from V1. The architect gave me the plans for the 25 floors in V3 which I converted to 2D Autocad layers at each elevation, then imported into 3D Max to sweep into a 3D model and then add materials and textures, along with plants, aircraft, and people to render the animation. I had to take a lot of stuff out to get it to render on 3 Gb RAM at the time. The project stalled from the founder dealing with hurricanes in Florida and he died a few years ago, though I've heard from time to time from the other partners who had interest from people in India in building it and needed some web stuff done. Seasteading, http://www.seasteading.org/, is the most active now. There is a group from Seasteading working on a local project in the SF Bay near Sausalito, Richardson Bay. Anchoring out is still allowed there. There is also a yearly festival, Ephemerisle, which is a kind of Burning Man on the water, where a lot of the local Seasteaders and others meet every year in the Delta with rafts, house boats, and other boats. |
