Most of my money in crypto I made in the early days of Etherium. I was part of the ICO and didn't sell one. The first year there was a lot of FUD, trolls telling to sell, doom and scam. Then the price began to rise slowly. I was happy with a little profit and a positive price move. After a few months after a hollyday I looked at the price and saw my ICO money times 100. Now I am a part of the Lisk ICO and the last weeks remind me of the early Etherium days. Things can explode very fast when some positive News is released...

Like you I got 2000 ETH with 1 BTC only and made over 20K... Lisk will have an even better outlook!!!

Ethereum has mainstream media attention along with literally 100 independent projects, also several established startups building on top of Ethereum. That's why I bought 50k when it was 80 cents. I knew Eth would go up because of all the developers involved. I look at Lisk and I see a couple Jr. developers and no 3rd party projects.

Lisk will also have the same fate. We just need to be patient. Why would you assume that? Ethereum has the market and network effect for Smart Contracts. Why would someone develop on Lisk over Eth?For a very simple reason: Javascript! Ethereum use Solidity, a high level language for Ethereum blockchain only. Lisk will use Javascript, the programming language of HTML and the Web, easy to learn & standardized in the ECMAScript language specification. Now think a moment where Lisk will go once dev from all over the world will start coding apps... Beside, a big diff between Ethereum dapps & Lisk apps is that while the first is immutable & unstoppable, Lisk sidechain will allow dev to run, modify & rewrite apps as much as they like, thus avoiding shameful immutable & unstoppable mistake such as The DAO & ether.camp... That's why I believe every sensible dev WILL develop on Lisk

@Max:
Is it possible to design any arbitrary database tables on sidechain apps and have LISK replicated changes safely? Or developers need to enforce some constraints to make it happen?
Thanks

You are right. But keep in mind that Etherium didn't had that infrastructure the first 7 months. They also had acces to the ICO money in the very first weeks.
I believe this project is just starting. I Will hold my Lisk and see where it goes. And if you are right; doom, scam, sell, Well then i,m prepared to lose my investment. No risk, no gain.

Ethereum was worth little and subject to much criticism 2 years ago.... Lisk is in that phase right now, and has the potential to overcome Ethereum in due time.

Ethereum was worth little and subject to much criticism 2 years ago.... Lisk is in that phase right now, and has the potential to overcome Ethereum in due time. Ethereum has the smart contract market cornered, Lisk is in the same space, they add nothing new except programming language (people are highly suspect on javascript security btw). Ethereum has mainstream media coverage, Lisk doesn't. It's team (according to Linkedin) is laughable, no offense but even as an early stage tech startup, the team is highly suspect with very little experience. Also, Ethereum isn't linking their ICO funds to other crypto projects, that shit is highly suspect in my opinion. Unless Lisk plans to distribute that to holders of Lisk. If I had 100BTC to invest long, I would be buying Ethereum, sure Lisk might pump here and there, but long term it will continue to decline. This is my opinion, be careful trading, there is no law that says Alts will rise just because.
