Hi,
Lisk needs active, skilled delegates to keep the chain running. Check all the tools , monitors, scripts which are made by delegates.
Not long ago the chain stuck at one point - the delegates helped HQ to locate the problem and get the chain running again.

Otherwise you would see that it contains very good points for and against pools. I read about the thousands of dollars that delegates spent for servers, that's enough... let's see, I've been supporting the network with a dozen servers and only 1 delegate for nearly a year now.... a decent dedicated server costs about 60 dollars a month, plus setup fees, and vpn's for backup, and same on testnet... my monthly costs are well over 100 dollars a month... times eleven months..... ? hmm, $1100 minimum just in server expenses.... now add domains, ssl, and countless nights up till 3am? Renewing certificates every 90 days too.... wtf 32 releases since testnet inception, and updating a dozen servers complete with SSL and double failovers is no fucking cakewalk. Now what you gonna say? Leave it to the pools? You are clueless.

You do realize that if there were 101 pools, the lisk whales would earn x5-10x more lisk putting their weight into all 101 pools than if they were forging one node themselves right? makes me wonder how you guys survived so long without math.

Seems logical, and ANYONE can be a delegate. We need more dedicated individuals, so if anyone is interested, you should consider staking lisk, and helping us secure the network.

A dedicated server for $4,166 a month? Lol okay, please post a link. I buy lisk and I have every right to receive percent of lisk forging from pools.
Correct. You have the right to vote only pools if you like. But you don't have the right to determine which delegates the other users should be vote.

Indeed, you do!... every right! ...and I do the same... for pools whom I know can and do maintain their servers. You do know that the current pools you milk are delegates that were vetted by other forging delegates? .... and that without us bag-holders voting them in, you would be getting NOTHING!
