A normal person wouldn't need BTC (a highly volatile commodity) to make payments; yes, you can use it a investment instrument but nothing more. it's like you will use stocks to buy a laptop. it's a nonsense.

I think that there are several peole who are interested in terrorist-em and that they use the coin as a good paymethod for all kind of illegal stuff. But i dont know for sure but bitcoins are not secured pay so it is possible.

I think their purpose for using it is to buy illegal materials with it, like buying weapons, drugs etc. as it is anonymous to send to anyone so so no one will know that from whom that money has came and who is being using that materials which are purchased with that money.

Exactly due to the anonymous nature bitcoin transaction is more hassle free compared to the transaction to any other form of currency. In reality we can't say that bitcoin alone is used for illegal activities. According to ones convenience each use different currencies.

Yeah, everything has a flip side in my opinion. A technology is a technology, and what people choose to do with that technology is entirely up to them. While bitcoin is used for illegal activities, it's not bitcoin's fault.

With Monero they might not be able to move as much money without destabilizing the market. Monero daily volume has ranged between $30,000 to $500,000 so far in 2016. And it has never reached above $1,000,000. Plus Bitcoin is anonymous enough right now since ID verification is not required. You can track the movement of coins but you can't really tie them to an individual or group.
