there are some people who use bitcoin as an illegal act. they transact porn, weapons trafficking, selling drugs and many more acts of criminality. I think this is one of the negative impact of bitcoin. ease of bitcoin is used inappropriately.

Even with fiat all of that activities that you've mention can be accomplished.. It's not just bitcoin that can be used in any purchasing.. The use of bitcoin in illegal activities I think is normal as part of it as a growing currency.. Anyone would really take advantage of features any new thing could offer..

Yeah it is not surprising that it would be use in such way because of as we all know it provides anynomity to its user , you are right that if people uses fiat for illegal terms even if it had already established norms how much more on bitcoin in which there is no law that penalizes you for illegal use of bitcoin right?

But why banks and governments are caring other currencies which are also involved in all type of scams and ponzi. More over, I do not agree that banks and governments do not care crypro currency. Because, in reality they do care more about crypto-currencies and in particularly blockchain.

Right, I also see a lot of mafia using bitcoin for any illegal transactions done. Because the system gives anonymous bitcoin against all those who use it. But that's not a problem for us, because we use the bitcoin to facilitate any transaction not to use it to illegal activity

Yeah it helps because they invest their money into bitcoin to use in illegal activities that  can be bad for bitcoin to other people instead of believing for there security to dont scam by someone you should need a escrow to deal someone unlike paypal that if some scam you can reverse and dispute the payment..

Depends on the jurisdiction. In theory you should need a licence, ESP if the service is being offered via platform. But with the case of some of these smart contracts, the code would be the house, and I think it would be hard to sue the code. If the code never cashes out the funds, it never realized capital gains, and subsequently has no tax liability. Now that I've typed it out, I guess you are right; essentially offering gambling without a license is illegal. But enforcement in some cases would be almost impossible. Also, while this should be highly illegal, the government is being really cavalier about this at the moment for some reason.

the thing about media and showing a bad image of bitcoin is getting old, and smaller. these days bitcoin is showing its power to the world and especially after the Brexit situation media started to see a new and good face of bitcoin.
