the amount of usage of bitcoin by the regular users who are not using bitcoin for anything illegal is a lot more than the amount of usage by other part of the users who are using it for illegal activities so i guess it really doesn't matter. it is just like USD usage!

Exactly, while that is the reality, maybe people are just seeing that bitcoin has a great potential that they can use to transact online without being detected easily, at least that is just their thinking but for the government nothing is impossible and untraceable.

I think that bitcoin is a currency that is very hard to trace, or not even possible. Interpol has already dealt with this issue in order to prevent money laundering by criminals.
