I'm sure yes, somewhere out there bitcoin being used for illegal activites. Using bitcoin as the payment for illegal activities is really good for the buyer and the seller, because it's easy to use and have low fee.

Well not just bitcoins but as well as fiat money because the people in the deep web or dark marketplaces are in favor of using bitcoins. Because of its anonymity they are loving that feature of bitcoin. But it is not totally and completely anonymous because if someone is just going to trace the transactions, they would do.

thats the good thing there since many users still doing this kind of transaction even its been labeled as use for illegal there are still people also using it for their business anonymously so it wont hurt that much bitcoin will still survive.

To answer your question, they can't do shit.

Unless they ban every Bitcoin related website, then yeah, they can't do shit. Even if they ban all Bitcoin websites, they can't go to everyone's house and take their hardware or software wallet. This means that people can still trade and use Bitcoin.

They cannot ban bitcoin because we have the freedom to use it and that is not good for the humanity, bitcoin has a good benefits for majority of people, so if the minority is using it for illegal activities that is not a good ground to ban bitcoins. In any cases, the majority always win.

It's possible for some countries to ban bitcoin. That is an easy task to do if government's software and IT expert will do the work seriously. Banning bitcoin related sites is just a piece of cake.

But it is only applicable in a certain country and not as a whole. There are ways to access again those sites but how come a person will still access those if using bitcoin is punishable under law.

You could not expect for someone  not to use it  on illegal purposes  because  bitcoin has the  most  beautiful  characteristic which  is  being anonymouse and  people   do  like  that very  much especially for those  people who dont  like to be traced  on their transaction which  you should  expect that  it would be used for sure on illegal.

Actually bitcoin is not that anonymous much although by outer looks of it, a normal person can be defined it as anonymous.

Correct it depends on the individuals and i think it is much convincing & safe transaction for illegal users because bitcoin can not required more information of all users before to have bitcoin wallet. We do not please not to do the illegal transaction because it is their decision and wants.

Investing is good for the bitcoin but the fact is that the criminals that are using this for criminal activities will also invest in it so that is a good sign if you ar asking me.
Its maybe not the right way but its also helping the bitcoin on that way so for a part its good for us all.

Bitcoin has always been used in many illegal purposes. However, it has been more than 7 years since the first block was mined, Bitcoin is getting more and more popular because of its benefit and nobody even care about its dark side

Well for me I will never user use bitcoin for illegal matters, ever! though some of the people who had an idea about in bitcoin they used it for a bad habit which is illegal transaction syndicate in any places in the world.
