I am not earning a live with bitcoin, but to be honest, I am not interested in it because its great volatility is still a negative factor to deposit your funds in it. Let's suppose that you invested $10000 in bitcoin last week. Today you had lost almost 30% of your investment and you would have $700 worth of bitcoin. I think this is not a reliable and steady way to earn a living.

Agreed, bitcoin is always good as an additional income and try to keep on earning till its possible, and you always have an full time job to take care of living, so bitcoin for me is an added advantage to earn some more money.

Yep you can definitely make more money if you work harder at your job to pick up that extra cash to throw into btc. The main issue is just putting on the schemes like setting up a good investment program for you to invest or for others to invest in you.

I used to live off altcoin trading way back, but quit after the market got sucked dry, now its back, and so am I!

It is really possible to earn a living with altcoin trading if you have a good capital and some knowledge and experience about the market.
There are a lot of people earning a lot of profit everyday from altcoin trading, the thing is they have experience and a capital to invest, nothing else.
Yes, altcoins have a lot of potential given that you invest in the right coin at the most perfect time. I know and we all know how ethereum price got very very high and a lot of predictors predicted the same. So, yeah surely trading altcoins is best way to earn for living.

Earning a living with Bitcoin may not be the best way if you solely rely on this earning method. You cannot soley relay  on bitcoin trading with Altcoin method and earn for your whole family. It can only be used as a hobby or a part time job, Unless you have invested a lot and  you belief it will continue to pay you in the long run.

Some altcoin is not steady and easy to die, but bitcoin is the best coin for me you can earn easily. But living in bitcoin is not good enough for this time.
Agreed. There are many more people in this vast world who still do not know about bitcoin. Thus, in this time only where only few people are familiar about bitcoin, I still doubt earning a living with bitcoin is possible with enough opportunities which pays decent amount bitcoins.

I need my day job to pay my bills unfortunately Bitcoin is not a sustainable source of income at the moment it's just a hobby with the benefit of earning a couple of dollars here and there. I am sure there are people out there making serious cash working for Bitcoin start-ups whatsoever The more people trusting bitcoin, the stronger it gets and the higher the price. If people starts making a living with bitcoin and making it their primary source of income, I think bitcoin will become stronger. This will make our source of income, partial or primary, higher pay than income from fiat.

At a moment its not possible to earn a living with it as price is too low and cannot expect to live with it, but in future if price goes higher then we can manage to earn a living with it.

it is possible to earn a living with bitcoin, you can either switch your salary to bitcoin

Beware of conversion fees when you exchange to fiat,, unless you can live off of gift cards.

or you can do something to get paid or earn bitcoin.

The smart move, but again, if you are going to be paying anything that must be paid in fiat, unless they directly accept btc, you will be moving that money through some type of exchange. Wink
I think there are more than handful amount of users who exchange bitcoins to your local currencies at almost marginal fees. So switching to bitcoins permanently wont be a bad idea at all.

Some altcoin is not steady and easy to die, but bitcoin is the best coin for me you can earn easily. But living in bitcoin is not good enough for this time.

Yeah, for me bitcoin is the only way to earning a living. For other coin, it's kind of gamble though. You can earning a living with bitcoin by joining signature campaign and do some service.

then you wont last long then, im not sure how much you earn just by doing sig campaign and some service
im pretty sure you cant always get a client with your service offer. it would be best if you both do free lancer
and sig. campaign etc.. you can earn much more.

Acroman is right dont rely too much in this signature campaign there are much out there. Actually there are people who do free raffles you can join them too for fun only or to to avoid being idle for a minute. A lot of working are opening too paying bitcoins.

Welcome the people from third world countries. They can earn a living with signature campaigns. Most of them have tons of alt accounts joined in YoBit or secondstrade. I'm pretty sure they can somehow survive everyday living by spamming the boards of this forum. With the price of bitcoin rising and the rate of signature campaign being constant, people from third world countries surely are celebrating. Anyway, anyone can make a living out of signature campaign. They just have to avoid getting kicked out by posting constructive and on topic posts and that is not that hard to do.

im from philippines but sig. campaign alone is not enough for me i can only pay so little of my bill by just relying on sig. campaign.
anyway the way the sentence that you made is quite offensive but i cant argue that maybe some third world people are actually doing
this, and im quite worried about the price going so high rightnow if the btc price drops after the halving just like the last halving it will have
an impact to bitcoin specially to those who are already having doubt about bitcoin.

But you also need to earn good amount of coins on regular basis, then only you can afford to go full time on it, unless you don't do it you cannot expect a good living with it.

I'm sorry if that sounded offensive to you, I'm just being realistic and honest. You shouldn't rely on signature campaigns because we aren't sure if signature campaigns are forever. If spammers take over this forum and the admins decided to remove the signature feature, then how are you going to pay your bills?

I suggest that you go to college and educate yourself so you would get a day job easier. Another suggestion is that you try to learn another skill and be really good at it. Try doing photoshop, programming, etc. All of these skills can be learned online. Almost everything can be learned online. So since you have an Internet connection, don't waste your time and start learning some new skills now.

Well I am not earning a living with bitcoin. I just earn some extra here to add to my daily allowance. That way my financial problems lessen.

Simply help your life. I hope you can focus more towards bitcoin, if you want to get bigger results from now on. Because in the future most likely, Bitcoin will experience a boom and the price will be increased sharply. So when we prepare such things from now on, surely we will get a very big advantage

Earning a living with the bitcoin is possible but you need to offer a lot such as the fact that you have to stop with your normal job...
you are definitely right in my opinion because you might offer your services for bitcoin

i think that i cant make a living with bitcoins right now but im pretty sure it will be possible pretty soon

Well, i can make a living by earning with bitcoins. I do many services like signature campaign, some translate service and i also have faucet rotator too.

Yes, I think its good to earn from both of them, and it surely improve your financial status, but depending only on bitcoin for living can be very risky affair.

we can get earing from bitcoin but i think we cannot depend on bitcoin for a living in present time. although it can give us a decent profit but still it is not reliable. its value can be down any time and we cannot lost our investment then what will we do for our livelihood.

I think it can be reliable, since other job are USD worth of BTC based payment.  Like for example, the one that running an avatar campaign where they pay 2 USD worth of Bitcoin per week.  If you haven't know, there are platform that pays you in BTC worth of USD.
