Earning a living with BTC is definitely possible. Better question is it safe in enough on long run? Can someone quit job when he have salary, social and health care paid? I think this depends from what is your current job, and how you make money for living now. If you work on the street as a pop corn seller I think this is much better way. But if you have some quality job then its big question. Its individual for sure, but definitely is possible to live from btc.

.BIG WINNER!.

It is true that there is an increasing and stronger economic sector based on the bitcoin, which is generating some employments and new fortunes, but I think most bitcoiners (especially newcomers) can't depend exclusively on bitcoin to pay their expenses, and this is my personal case.  Grin
Not only with the bitcoin, in any sector the newcomers will not be able to find full-fledged earning opportunities. You must need at least enough experience to get some decent amount of bitcoins with bitcoin opportunities.

Good luck with your development friend, if you got the skills that needed by many bitcoin users i think you can earn a living with it by giving good customer service and by satisfying them. I'm sure you can depend on bitcoin in the near future.

It can surely be possible to make a living out of Bitcoin. This would require a big amount of money to invest in Bitcoin so you can make so good profits out of it.

If Im a programmer I'd rather go on and find a real life job and only do side jobs with bitcoin. Programmer job here in our country really pays well. And demands for bitcoin related jobs that need programming are not that much in the crypto world.

with signature campaign under bitsupra now you can have a chance to earn about one bitcoin if you are a legendary.
It is really a benefitting campaign, so it proved that yes you have have earning for living with bitcoin.
Bitsupra campaign almost provide unlimited posting limit to their participants so with the highest rank you can make a living with them. It is very nice to see the signature campaign earnings are turning from extra income to enough for living.
Earning a living only from signature campaign is now possible with this wonderful campaign that too with daily payments. Obviously if you are a higher ranked forum member, your earnings will be amazing.

Why would you want to make a living with bitcoins? If you work, you get paid. It does not matter if you get paid in dollars or bitcoins, as long as the amount is right.
Unless you want to invest in bitcoin, but that is not what I would call 'earning a living'.

It does matter for some people Wink

Fact is, would you care if you were paid in Zimbabwean Dollars? Yes it wouldn't suit you, not only because you couldn't use it in your country, but also because you don't really trust the Zimbabwean economy (and you're right to do so) and fear that the system could collapse, destroying the value of what you earned!

but there are huge of other ways also available on internet with which one can earn better amount without any programming skills, he just have to search for these opportunities, he will definitely earn some big amount, he also can earn some big money if he can afford to buy and run a website , as nowadays earning from own websites is more interesting and more benefiting.

Well, that's true, you should not start from scratch if you want to survive with bitcoin alone.. but if you are kicked out of your work and want to try your future with bitcoin, you need luck..But the best is not to rely on luck and bitcoin on your daily living, instead, invest in bitcoin to make a living out of it..

Indeed it's a bit strange to go to bitcoin when you're a programmer, but that's because you're a Westerner! ^^
Imagine if you're a programmer in Nigeria! It's not exactly going to be an incredible salary if you get a local job, whereas btc jobs around the world are constant and low for westerners but high for third world countries!

If you can earning a living with bitcoin, so why not ? It's like you can work from home, no need go to office and enjoy your earning with bitcoin. So, it's same like you work on real life though.

But i think it us close now and bitsupra. Is nice campaign but let see. But i cant make bitcoin for living we need decent  jobs in real life so we can get a retirement pay. And bitcoin for me is just a sideline and i open it and earn for my free times. So bitcoin cannot replace the real jobs for earn. For those who get hook to it get a life Smiley

It is good.that you are not thinking only of the daily needs but your future needs as well. It is thru that working in a company gives the benefits of earning retirement fund. But if you could manage your funds well, you can also earn enough for your retirement. Maybe more if you are really good at investing or business.

That is not possible, you also never know what will happen with the value of Bitcoin and that is the problem, the value can fall but it can also rise you dont know and that is risky.
But I think that you better can see Bitcoin as a small earning and just have a daily job.

I need my day job to pay my bills unfortunately Bitcoin is not a sustainable source of income at the moment it's just a hobby with the benefit of earning a couple of dollars here and there. I am sure there are people out there making serious cash working for Bitcoin start-ups whatsoever  Grin

Those who adopted earlier already have a lot of coins and they can invest it and earn more than their day job. Or those serious traders can earn a lot. They can afford to quit their job and focus on bitcoin. But for us, whose main source of bitcoin is signature campaign only, I think it is needed to maintain our day jobs.
Quitting your day job just for bitcoin earning has been discussed already for quite enough. Still, I would like to say having both your day job and bitcoin earning would be a better way of making a living. Always an excess money generation will not hurt you.
But choosing the highly paying way of earning method must be a wise idea. If you can make more money with the bitcoin, then there is no point in struggling with your regular job.

This is really just a a idea that I like to play with, believe it will adapt and change with time and then we may see more people using bitcoin on a regular paycheque way. The idea of holding a wage in 2 week cycles is something that can be dropped as well if say you scan a code in the morning and scan it on the way out, deducting lunch and instant payroll minuse taxes and fees.
