It's not a big deal as you will just have to qualify that what you are doing is just for fun. There no sin if you do that as you can spend but you have receive entertainment in return but when you are greedy, you will really face the problem as the life a gambler is very stressful.

I agree, it really depends on that person how he is really willing to quit from gambling. Even if his friends influences him to gamble, if he really want to quit gambling he won't listen to his friends to gamble again. Even if you find a new hobby but still your mind is still in gambling you will come back in a few weeks or months.

You can also block the websites if you want to make sure you won't enter them again. Or find some activity you like to do and you'll just forget about gambling.

Blocking gambling sites is not that effective. Especially if you were the one who put a blockade then you will most likely collapse and break your resolution of "no gambling".
The only way I can think of, which probably will help is to give up of access to your money - but I might be even trickier to do. No money = no gambling.

I agree with you mate. If you only gambles online, then the best way to get out of it is to stay away online for couple of days and just do anything outdoor. If your source of income is doing online work, then you better try to find something about it - maybe you can block the gambling sites you are playing with.
