i think gambling is not a bad habit. it become bad if a person is playing it badly and wrongly. it become bad when a person make it a way of become rich in a day or so. my personal experience is that when i came back from my job in evening time i went to my friends house. as we have no casino in area therefore we do gambling on cricket match. when i went to my friend's house there we get on live cricket matches. i play gambling in a limit. for the money which i have budgeted for my pocket on daily basis. if i won its ok other wise i will lose only my daily limit of my pocket money. so i think its not bad its just fun and enjoyment.

I think you mean destructive and i agree because habits like that only bring bigger problems later on in your life and you really dont want to get into debt from gambling and i think the best way to stop is to just get rid of the environment.

I think you mean destructive and i agree because habits like that only bring bigger problems later on in your life and you really dont want to get into debt from gambling and i think the best way to stop is to just get rid of the environment.

Your suggestion is real nice, get rid of the environment to avoid to be tempted because if we are tempted again we will still gamble and repeat the stupidity we made in the past and will experience losses that in the end we will complain that on why it is happening again.

Control your self, put and implement some discipline and also have a tolerance on the time you spent on gambling.

exert more time on other tiring but productive activities, in that way you can slowly forget your addiction to gambling.

And by the time pass by you will think that you don't need gambling at all.

But for me, If gambling doesn't have a negative effect o your life and living then don't quit.

Dont open that gambling site. Let someone block it for you with a password. Dont join a signature campaign which is connected to gambling or if they are paying you in their websitr withdraw it once salary came. Or else you might use it in gambling.

I personally tried so many tricks to quit gambling when i was into huge profit but i don't have control over my greed, the problem is that it is impossible for me to stay away from online so that i keep trying again and again to give try to my luck there, so that i can't give any suggestion there.

Yes sometimes greed that makes people forget themselves but the nature of it also allows us to win or earn big money because if we always remove the opportunity to master or get big money, we never being a rich man.

that's right, I myself when stopped from addiction because of religion. especially if you deepen your faith, you can get away from something bad, like gambling.

It might have worked for you but it does not mean it will work for others too. What if their religion does not prohibit that, do he have to change faith just to quit gambling? Or what if he does not believe in god? Do he have to quit being atheist and be agnostic? Therr are ways to solve gambling addiction but religion is not one of them. Maybe for some, but not for all.

Religion is not enough and it will not be able to help people that are addicted to gambling if they are not willing to help themselves about stopping and quit from gambling so how can the religion will help them ?

but it can help if you ask someone else to do it for you and someone else who has the keys to unblock the sites so you can't do it on your own.

and also i think locking away your funds is also useful, you can also use another trusted person in this case to give your funds to him/her.

I see only a small way that a religion will help an addicted person into his addiction.

Try to consider more precise way and more direct way on how to quit gambling, like ivesting your time in to a more productive and tiring work rather tha sitting in front of computer playing gambling games, seek for family advice and support, go out with friends and drnks some smirnoff or what kind of liquor and look for some fun.

There were a lot of ways and lets don't try to complicate it.

if you want to get out of gambling, I think the best way is to get together with your family and ask for advice, they will definitely give you advice that's best for you, and if you're not doing anything, maybe you're better off looking for something new out there, so you do not think to gamble again.

I also think that religion won't help at all, because I know some people that has religion that was really strict but still they do gambling. So I think Religion won't help. But always put God in your Heart and In our everyday lives.

Religion and gambling should not go together in my opinion, gambling is for fun, religion is a serious matter...That is your beliefs and you should never put your beliefs in the way of a measly buck to cry over.

Why you guys want to quit gambling for good? Does gambling do anything bad to you guys? I dont think so because the one that really bad is your greediness so first you must control your greed too after that you wont need to get rid of gambling in your life. It is not about gambling it is about themselves thats why they want to quit gambling for their own sake. It has nothing to do with the game, and I agree that it is because of people being greedy thats why they sometimes lose and realize that gambling isn't good for them.
