You will need to find a other hobby because you will have to keep your mind of gambling. That is the only thing that could help you stop and it has to be a fun hobby.

My friend for example went from gambling to a very active badminton player. He practices every day now and hasn't gambled till the day of today.

Yes this will work because it worked for me as well before in 2015 I was gambling a lot on gambling sites and loosing.
Then I came to know about League of legends and started playing it. After that I can't tell how fast the time was moving for me also I have forgotten Of gambling still I play it

If you are an addict or afraid to become an addict. Find yourself a nice hobby that will attract your attention from gambling in my opinion.

That is most of the gamblers do they want to get a faster way on getting money and they can't think less of what might happen to them if they had lost all of their money, well even if people have a normal job or a stable job they will try to cling on gambling for a faster and much larger money for a while.

Wow, that's a bit extreme but I think your idea is pretty interesting. Gambling's pain when losing is 100x the joy when winning in my opinion, so if you really lose that much money, it at least teaches you a lesson.

The thing I hate about trying to quit gambling is you can't just quit like quitting a job, it's over it's done .
