My first experience with bitcoin is through faucets. I was hoping for that to earn 1 BTC through faucets only until I calculated that I need 1 million faucets to join with 100 satoshis each to earn the desired amount. Until I found this site that I can possibly earn it just a few months.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think I first started with faucets, which was an interesting experience.

I'm fairly new to bitcoins, though I've heard about it a couple of years ago. Didn't even realize that one could make some earnings through faucets and signature campaigns. After my first three or four days of being active in the forums, I tried faucets and earned about .008 btc. Not bad for my first earnings. But the captchas are making my eyes sore. Now I'm trying to rank up so that I'd be able to join signature campaigns, and somehow augment what I'm earning from my day job.

Yes, the captchas on those faucets really make the task not worth the effort. If you want to skip by the slow process of ranking up, there are people who sell accounts. I'm not exactly sure where to look, though, since I haven't tried it and am never parting with my beloved account. It probably can be found by checking out the marketplace board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0
Also, you can find a great signature campaign here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1036113.0
Just know that if you join a signature campaign, your post quality may be scrutinized. Always strive to post quality and not quantity.

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated. I've been reading a lot about different topics the past few days. I'll try to take in as much as I can, so that I could pay it forward to those who might need help or guidance. That is when I've ranked higher already. Also, I only try to post on forums where I think I have a bit of knowledge about or those forums which arouse my interest and curiosity.

Honestly speaking I adopted bitcoin because I wanted to get rich with bitcoin. When I read stories about how bitcoin price shot to 3 figures over a time, I thought if I could earn some coins I too would be rich. But when I start using bitcoin,it gave me freedom and convenience that I started loving it

I started to use bitcoin because I wanted to earn some extra money and wanted to multiply my earnings and getting into bitcoin was always a good feeling.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins.

Fear  Grin I was terrified I'd do something wrong and lose all my money, or get hacked. I'd constantly tab over to my balance, and I must have made like 10 copies of my private key (I didn't understand how easy it was to have multiple wallets at the time) because I was terrified of losing the key and possibly not being able to access my coins (it was a blockchain account, I didn't even need the key as I had the password Smiley )

Now it's all old hat Smiley

I see most of the people here got into bitcoin because they'd like to earn money on the sideline.

@ontopic my first experiences? I had to recheck every single character on the addresses I was sending to, even if I copy-pasted it already, or scanned through a QR. I was paranoid back then.

LMAO, I forgot about that. I only really check the first and last 3 characters nowadays, but yes! I'd get the miss to read the address out to me, military style, to make sure we got that bad boy right Smiley

Sure, only rely on the main job not give an enough salary, well, sideline become one of the way to gain more salary to increase their income it's become a true primary statement.

Various experience gets from Bitcoin starting from disciplines, a hard-working person, and more experience. Grin

It took me 6 months to come to this conclusion. If it took you less, pat yourself on the back  Grin

Ultimately, the best way to earn BTC is to do the thing you can get paid the most for, and buy it Smiley

same here i would double check my address if its correct even though i copy paste it
and im was a bit scared when my coin is in pending for over an hour i thought that it might
not get any confirmation and become lost. that when i first started bitcoin and wallets.

I think like most, their first experience with Bitcoins, I began with the gathering of satoshi from faucets, gambling and viewing ads. It is worth to say that I got on the scam, investing in HYIPs and doublers.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?

at the first time I heard about bitcoin, I thought it was scam. my friend explained bitcoin a few times, but I still didn't believe in him.

until one day I really needed money, so I asked him to teach me how to earn bitcoin and convert it to fiat. then he taught me. so here I am.

It was the lack of understanding of the "difficulthy" concept which led to the purchase of miningsweden products thinking it is profitable.

New comers should be educated on the concept of power and difficulthy.

Like everyone else I started with faucets.
They were much more profitable that time, I even considered to make my own faucet.
With all those bots, the low payouts and the adsenss bann, my faucet times are over.
I do a little trading and signature campaigns now. But mostly I buy coins, when I need them.
