Hi mate. Consensus  is over but no biggie news as hinted by you... whats happening...? Did we miss something...Huh

Joel Katz
I am sorry that wound up misleading people. Let me explain what happened:

Originally, we were going to have three demos at consensus. XRP to ETH using ILP, Banking payments using XRP/paychan under ILP, and a demo of a future vision of a micropayment system over ILP.   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

We were also going to do several corporation partnership/strategy announcements,  Shocked Shocked Shocked including the lockup and the new exchanges  Shocked Shocked and so on at consensus.
 Grin Grin Grin

It reached the point where there just weren't slots for all the demos or time to do the releases. And it wouldn't have given people time to track us down to discuss new partnerships and so on if those announcements motivated them to talk to us. Also, we expected everyone else to announce at consensus, so we might have gotten lost in the noise.

So the strategy changed. We announced more things before consensus and at some point, we just decided to announce pretty much everything before consensus to go in consensus on a high with everyone already wanting to talk to us about what we were doing.

The strategy, I think, worked well. We did enter consensus with a high level of excitement. Lots of people wanted to work for us, and we had lots of high-level talks with all kinds of people. We had lots of companies offer to run validators in lots of jurisdictions. It was awesome.

But the downside was that we didn't announce very much new at consensus, though that was the original plan.

Again, I apologize for misleading people. That was totally my fault. I was really excited about we had coming and really couldn't resist sharing my enthusiasm. I'd say I'll be more careful in the future, but I think that would be kind of a sad thing. Know that I will always try to be completely honest and say only what I genuinely believe but that sometimes things will change and that is beyond my control.

Joel all is gd, we are human ( for the time being..lol im planning on becoming a cyborg lol)
im sure everything you mentioned will have happened or will happen soon anyways
Thanks m8  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Nice time to buy now, isnt it? Wink

Moon coin just hit 4sat from 1sat yesterday just now on coin market cap, told you to jump on it, it'll only get bigger like apple comp. Thats what you should buy on Bleutrade before it goes on Polo or Bittrex.

Im not talking about mooncoin..

yes..yes and yes lols

this blows away almost all forms of online payment options available today

+ many btc merchants go through payment processors to speed things up..like bitgo , bitpay etc
with this , they may not need to as its cheaper, the speed is faster and just as secure too  Wink

BTC, store of value, today's example: some time this day 2800 on GDAX, now 2350 on GDAX, 450 loss, CMC lost 8B just in minutes. With such variation, you can forget about "store of value" and think of "fuck up of value", that not said about "FrankieSegWit 2.0MB".

I want BTC, ETH/ETC and XRP progress, but so far XRP proves more stable.

Hello,

As you can see by my name I'm completely new to this whole Cryptocoin thing. 5 years ago I tried to buy 4000 BitCoin but had no clue how so ended up not doing it. You can imagine my pain everyday now haha. Anyway, I really want to buy some XRP early. Can anyone give me a step by step process. I'm horrible with computers too but I really feel like XRP is gonna be a big thing soon and don't want to miss out.

Thank you.

Go on youtube and type "buying xrp on poloniex", for example.  A lot of videos with detailed explanations.

If you are "ok to hold long term 2 years+" then adding xrp to your portfolio or trapper keeper over the next 6 months can be justified.
Others are ready to hodl for 5-10 years.
Just know there is a large group of people that bought xrp at $0.00666 for years and if you bought now it would be around $0.25. Thats pretty expensive to me.

If I were buying now, I'd be looking more to actually using XRP for settlement/cross-border payments/goods and services, not to sell for a native currency like others around here that have made millions of $$$ who have been in XRP from the beginning.
