Gambling can be really considered as a sickness in my eyes, look how much people are already addicted to it, I really think its ridiculous.
They can also not stop and I think that you can than call it a real sickness..

That sad to hear but I agree, gambling sickness affected you life negatively, you won't have a good mood to interact with your families and friends cause you are thinking of the time you regretted especially when you lost a huge amount of money.

i don't think so, i admit i am an addicted gambler almost everyday i gamble in casino, sportsbook and other money gaming, but i can still communicate very well to everybody around me and i doing my job in the workplace as usual nothing bad as long as i am on the line.

you have a good strategy for your life an I think after all that you should not have to call yourself as addicted, as I also think that addict are those who lose their sense and lose to attain all other activities of life, while those people who have managed their life to participate in all activities of life are not addict people.

Yes, it is correct, anyone who once goes there get addicted with those games uncontrollable, after that it becomes much harder to let them back from that field, they spend the whole of their lives in playing games at casinos.

It's still hurting somebody, What about your family?? Your hurting them emotional and financially. If you can't feed them then your hurting them.
It's not labeled as sickness in general but a mental sickness. If they can't control their selves then it's a sickness.

not everyone like to do it but gambling is quite easy to make people addict to it. Some who lose their control even end up getting from loan shark and get worse from there. Family can be gone and all friends start to avoid you.

Well it can be a huge addiction until you cant control yourself and cant think properly. People end up destroying their own homes, some even commit suicide or do criminal activities. And it is not easy at all to cure on your own. You need consultation and need a lot of supports from many places. It is worse than sickness.

Yes, the uncontrollable addiction make them big criminals and they end up with a destruction of their lives, or their family lives or they stop from their vanishing all of their wealth and remain poor in the society.

I think its all in our greediness. There are other games and hobbies that can also be considered a sickness but why only gambling? We all know it involves money and once you lose you also lose saving and sometimes bills for the family. What a gambler really needs is self control and a proper mind set that gambling is a game and not an investment.

I do not consider gambling as a sickness because its just a game and a game can be addictive till on a time you do not like it anymore.

I agree here, if one is starving their family to gamble, then they are ill.  But, it's not the gambling that's the problem, it's the person doing the gambling....One cannot blame the dice.  Just like if somebody was laying on their butt watching Oprah all day instead of getting a job, you couldn't blame the tele but the lazy creep watching the tele!

Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.
