October 9th Sasha said two more weeks of testing, then nodes. One week later the price started shooting up. We got up to 56k with 650 BTC buy support. Now, with nodes and assets (supposedly) only days away, we have 51k with a meager 260 BTC buy support. Is this the result of of all those false starts?
Of course we want them to take their time making sure there are no bugs, but was it really necessary for them to tell us again and again for months nodes were only two weeks away? I'll be happy to eat my words if this blows up this week and in the months to come. Good luck, Wavesters!
Who knows, but if you want to look where some Waves went, I know that Iconomi has added it in their portofolio, in a nice % of aqquisition. For what it's worth.
About the "endless 2 weeks" I have nothing more to add, I do it way too much already, apart of the following;
Sasha does not learn much on this side, this is unfortunate, and even more :
There is still the possibility of him taking advantage of people by giving a deadline all the time.
But let's stay with the fact : He over promess(ed) way too much, trashed things and acted like a "dictator", and his words are not taken seriously anymore.
A CEO would not want that generally, if he wants to be taken seriously, this is a little sad for people supporting the project, and insulting also.
It could easily be improved but it's not happening yet.
The weekly videos are great tho, code exist also, you can see the involvment and love of the team for the project generally..
It just does not fix those bad ways of "Absolutely" delivering "next week".
Better speak little ,over deliver, don't trash stuff on impulse, don't do the 12 year old kid with "mark my words shit" followed by "ETC will die in few months" etc
