People should relax a little.
Aside from the BTC pump which certainly made a lot of money getting pulled out of alts for the time being, Waves included.
I don't think this is the main reason.
The main reason is that the FN release was sort of a forced testing ground because people wanted it so badly. There was no real promo for it whatsoever yet. They even haven't posted it on their FB page yet.
I'm very sure they have their reasons to do so. Be it insider trading, trading BTC themselves or most importantly likely that they don't see this release as the release they wanted.
They want a proper node explorer, maybe some other things, in ideal maybe even fiat to work properly.
But until then I'm just waiting for the weekly video to come out and check what's on the plan with an actual announcement and not some half-assed underground post on Twitter.
Either way, be it taking days, weeks or maybe a month or two anyone in their right mind understands what's going on right now.
Until then I just so wish the people spamming this thread with their Startis or whatever coin would just spend their lifetime with something else. If anyone in this thread would be so interested about your stuff we will appear in your thread in no time.
Very sensible comments. Many exasperated posts that nodes always delayed, and now they have put that to rest. This morning's panic at least provided one last chance to buy cheap. Guys, stop giving away your Waves! I'm no good at predictions, but we will likely be 75k+ by Christmas...maybe 5x that! |

Why Price is falling
Bitcoin increasing, most alts will be down for a few days. Probably another good entry point under ICO to come over the next day or so. i should have bought now and not at 56k sat Tough break man, buying at the ATH is really risky though, as long as you don't make any panicky decisions I'm sure you'll be fine in about a week or less. I sold at 55k bought in at 50k but sold at a loss around 44-46k, entered back in around 36k so it was a good day for people that believe in Waves, pretty ridiculous that we are at ICO price and I'm throwing all my BTC at Waves currently. IMO when BTC calms I'm expecting a nice jump back up to 55k+ but for the time being I think we'll swing between 30k and 45k for a few days, just until BTC stops being so volatile. Everyone was expecting the price to continue to go up so I threw all my BTC at WAVES and currently have 14k waves with an average buy price of 45k sat |

All we know is that (so far since june) what Sasha state is meaningless in up to 99% of cases. What else do you wanna hear ? Waves is building strong foundation of cryptocurrency space in Russian... more projects is deploy on waves platform. i wont call this meaningless. The future is looking bright  |

seeing 36k when it was 57k is hard, no matter how much one believes in waves. People were saying that the slow constant growth kinda mean that people are recognizing the progress is real and that the usual pump and dump is less likely. Unfortunately a big dump happened after FN so the constant progress did not mean that much. The 'buy the rumor, sell the news' effect was very strong. So what is next? We slowly wait price climb up (with a series of 'net week XY is out, for sure!") then when assets are out the price goes back to ico levels again? It's just weird the way the market reacts. There were many here that believed that the price will double or even more when the full nodes are released. it almost halved for a second. So if the full nodes weren't what was awaited for trust (and increased buy support) then what is the feature that needs to be added for waves to rise? What if just falls again when the buy the rumor period is over? or is it everything BTC's fault ?  |

well, I am guessing sooner or later a coin needs to go beyond the buy the rumor and sell the news value? I mean every news/feature that gets added means a coin is more valuable so the price should go up, not down. Or do we just keep buying waves right after the news/feature is out? Buy now that the price is low, wait for the next promised feature to be implemented then dump? It just seems too weird. |

It is not healthy to altcoin market, the real thing we need to concern about is bitcoin constant pump, now it is 750 usd, even 780 usd in Chinese exchanges, I dare not imagine the price is 1k usd.  Maybe alts booming like in 2013? |

WAVES!!!!... of tears as i just pulled up the price for the first time in 4 days. Back to the drawing board.

Asset creation is live. You can already create assets on the Waves platform via Swagger. Next week it will be more user friendly after integration into the Lite Wallet UI.

Yes, indeed. Sasha is always delaying his own deadlines. It will take a long time before another pump will happen, since I don't think DEX will be finished soon, but when it is finished, price might explode. |
