Can anyone shed some ligh on this, maybe I am misunderstanding this.

arent projcts like incent or darcrus etc who accept waves a little dangeorus for the waves price? in the future there will be more of these projects that will accept waves for funding. what if some of them fail to the extent that they do not raise enough money so they simply dump the waves at the end of ico? that will lower the waves price. in fact they will have to sell waves anyway to get funding. So the price will go lower in any case.

I've heard the Incent guys go on record that they have no intention of selling their large stack of Waves anytime soon. They intend to run their own full node and do the leasing/staking thing with their large balance for the foreseeable future. I'm guessing that is true.

Though some here have written that Waves would be the primary currency that Darcrus would accept, I saw today that they will accept any and all currencies that Shapeshift accepts with no special preference or bonus for Waves. So I doubt they will gather any kind of large amount of Waves.

What made Incent unique was that they gave a bonus for Waves. That's why they gathered so many. Unless other projects down the line do the same, I doubt it will represent any major kind of problem.  Not likely that any single project will gather Waves at the scale that Incent did.

But it is something to think about and consider. We'll have to watch and see.

The whole point of waves is to be the engine for projects like incent....  it will be the success of these CAT'S that will make waves in the end...

Waves will make it easy for all businesses to add the power of the blockchain.

weekly will be about the full nodes, not sure why is everyone expecting it so much.

I think right now what needs to happen is waves need to be added to one or few top exchanges. doesn't necessarily need to be poloniex, if there is some perosnal agenda. the reason waves need to be added is that it will give this project some validity and confirmation that the full nodes is the good milestone and step in the right direction. .. it's just... waves should not be only living on bittrex ,especially now that the FN are released and all the code is there for waves to be added to exchanges. if all exchanges keep ignoring waves then this is weird indeed.

FULL NODES it's not meant anything.

That's why i feel difficult for find them on the exchange.

I though the public nodes were released few days ago? So no one has yet installed them?

I also think that some random people, and not devs, sending coin requests to poloniex is more or less without any effect and spamming them might even be counterproductive.

I think people need to stop spamming Poloniex with this coin request, Waves team can approach Poloniex directly and resolve the issue. I don't think anybody submit Zcash coin request before poloniex decided to add it

No one knows who owns how many nodes, because the public node explorer isn't even online yet.
Aside from that I very much doubt that the Waves team is running a node for Bittrex.

The coin request form is for developers, not for trolls. But they have it for trolls too, so they dont bother them with ticket requests or in the trollbox.

polo listing will not make the price higher. i will make the price more stable. Now whales have just to manipulate the price on bittrex and some chinese exchanges to dump or pump the price. polo on launch would help to not dump the price so hard. but that phase is over.

No of course not, poloniex would have helped when waves had it's hyped momentum after the ICO.
For weeks alot of hyping was around this coin, but after the delays of this coin alot dumped their coins.
Poloniex would have been great for the start of this coin, since more interest would be for this coin and therefor the price would be up.

Go look at ETH chart for the last 18 months, this type of platform takes a long time to build. I'm fairly sure we all want it to and it will eventually, but accumulation phase I'm just glad people were selling at 36k, weak crypto traders just throw money at you I swear.
