I really can't see liquidity as a problem in any crypto. 5M is no different than 500M with 6 instead of 8 decimal point. And I don't see the 7th and 8th decimal point becoming significant anytime soon even for bitcoin, let alone any other altcoin

+1
I totally agree with you. From the logical point of view, this makes total sense. Not sure about the psychological aspects that some people have mentioned here  Wink
Anyway, I voted for 5M because of exactly what you described avove  Wink

I sent from blockchain.info, am I ok?

afaik yes

cool! they recently changed their interface and i feel like a noobie navigating the wallet now. I know in the past it was possible to access private keys on the old site, but the new one, I'm not sure how to do that.

I have asked the support before, new blockchain.info can't get private key, so maybe you have to old one to dump your private key

The support should call support!  Grin
Here, i have described how to extract your private keys from your new blockchain.info wallet EASILY. Hope that helps!  Smiley

Maybe the support reads this, and becomes an "even better support" from now on?  Cheesy (right now they seem to not even know their own system)

I guess the search in "Participating Bitcoin Addresses" db outputs only the addresses participating in the current voting, and not in the ICO

So this WAS an ICO and sold that way in the beginning.. i participated and have been following for months now and I was previously reassured that maintaining my transaction details would be enough to guarantee receipt of the tokens. I cannot get the private key from bread mobile btc wallet.

How will you right this situation?

I guess the ease of receipt is confusing the shit out of me right now... just really not sure how this is going to work. And you know uncertainty  = death in cryptoland

Will stay involved, hoping this works out.

is it already known, how much extra XEL each participant will get who donated?

there is 29% XEL that will be spread right? Will this be an equal spread among ... (how many?) investors?

thanks!

No the distribution will be done proportionally to the amount of XEL one already holds. There is a current vote that decides about the final total amount of XEL, and it looks like the community will decide for 100 Million. So basically, all remaining 95+ Million XEL will be distributed to those who have XEL ... again proportionally to the amount of XEL everyone already holds.

We urgently need a faucet for the testnet.
Anyone wants to do it? I thought of something like this: https://github.com/NeXTHorizon/hz-faucet, but I can't get it to work.
Shouldn't be hard to adapt though.

Lannister maybe you could set up a bounty for creating the testnet faucet? This should speed up things a lot.
