Not before the end of that month as a vote is happening to decide of the amount of supplies.
You should vote as well if you donated to the project.

We also need to make the hackathon where people look for Bugs on private testnets, and then (this was made up by someone, I guess Lannister) we have to wait for a 3 week bug-free time on the public testnet. When all goes well, we could go for the mainnet I think. It's important to stress test everything imho, to avoid incidents like we've seen in the DAO  Wink The wallet is (almost) ready, I finish up the last missing pieces concerning the GUI today. Then I will post some first bounties in the hackathon thread (Lannister you will have to agree then).

My 699 XEL have spoken

21mil sounds like a nice compromise and thankfully for me it seems to be a clear winner.

I should say however that such votes with multiple choices where only one can be voted are seriously flawed in determining the best possible outcome

Just imagine a case where many choices were roughly equal in popularity but one slightly ahead. It would win even if in fact it is a minority.

For example
5m - 24%
10m - 22%
21m - 20%
100m - 15%
500m - 14%
1b - 5%

It makes sense to assume that voters of 21m and more would prefer 10m to 5m but 5m won.

That's why such votes need to be repeated by eliminating the weakest participants each time, or by letting voters rank all choices (choice1 gets 6 votes, choice 2 gets 5 etc)

We will almost certainly not have this problem but it should be taken into account for future issues

why are you assuming so? we discussed this since days now in this thread. you are obv able to vote for multiple options because of exactly this mentioned issue.

Just a hint: If you like more options, its possible (and wanted) to vote for more than one option.

EDIT: I have just voted for 5M and 21M.

is there any particular reason that speaks against 100M?

To be honest, I have no feeling for "the right amount". So I have let my intuition decide  Wink
But at the moment, the majority seems to like 100M  Wink

damn. I should vote for 1 billion.

I think 1 billion has no support at first. so i compromise to 21million.

Now 1 billion gets uptrend! if i vote for 1 billion, it would be on the top.

 Grin

You can still vote for whatever option you want. As @Evil-Knievel said, you can vote for all options if you wish. So if you want to vote for 1B after you voted for 21M go and do so.

@Evil-Knievel after vote on supply ends can we create another poll with question about minimum fee?

@Evil-Knievel after vote on supply ends can we create another poll with question about minimum fee?

The voting software allows multiple parallel votes. We have discussed a few potential fee models here a few weeks ago, maybe we should brainstorm about what alternatives we have and put them up for vote?
