correct. also we have a final product now. I will not sell under 15 million marketcap. I think price will get even higher if the network works fine for a few weeks/months and people starting using it |

I put in .05BTC about a year ago and thought nothing of it for months. With all the talk of marketcap and expected pricing and what everyone wants it to be, I'll probably be selling near the start. If my .05BTC deposit to a scamcoin can be return for .5BTC+ I'm not going to hold out lmao, especially with how much BTC price has appreciated within the past year. |

The code will be working code that applies to use cases that fit within it's limitations (and I don't think these are the same use cases Golem and others are going after...but I could be wrong). Even reading the various feedback over the last few days regarding the SN's it seems that a lot of people have various opinions regarding how the system should behave. It can certainly be enhanced to do addition use cases or behave anyway anyone can dream up, but that takes time and effort. |

Once you show that Elastic does what it is supposed to (no more, no less), you can enhance it. Ideally, it being successfull will draw in developers, who like the idea and are willing to enhance Elastics usability. But for now, I think focus is key. As with just about any other blockchain project I've come across, we are in a proof-of-concept-phase. |

As you correctly state, there's an awful lot of misnomers around what Elastic can and can't do. clivemy, unfortunately I'm probably not the best person for that. But if anyone has a question as to a specific use case can be handled by xel, I could answer that (i.e. someone on slack talked about a market prediction algo...yes, xel can do that...here someone asked about video rendering and mining other coins...no we can't do that). But one thing to keep in mind. The main reason to go with SNs is that the possibilities for xel are great. It can be expanded to fulfill any number of use cases. Without the SNs...as someone else stated...xel would pretty much be a big calculator due to the the limitations of the core servers. So I get there are concerns with the SN implementation. It may not be perfect at first...but the idea is to put a framework in place that can allow people to build on. Without it, we'd be extremely limited. I realize people want to cash in on the ICO...but, I really just wish this was just an open source project with no ICO. This project is not about making people a bunch of money...it is about doing something that hasn't been done before that may provide a great benefit to the scientific community. |

There should be changes made to the code that make it ready for production ///\\\ and apart from that, code should contain a hidden message from a dumb that built it, like a en encrypted part of poetry coming from the forth dimension. |

Final product, yeah probably not. But working product for sure.
Nonetheless, this is a great topic to discuss before the mainnet goes live. Collecting and prioritizing feedback for future development will be a tough task if there isn't an appropriate forum to handle it. I personally think Trello works great for development backlog tracking. Its transparent to the community, has a slack plugin, and best of all FREE!
I will continue looking into trello for the slack unless there is a better alternative.

Oh.. i see now. Lol on page 4 someone tried to start a collection of OTC offers. Seems really cluttered and difficult to locate(e.g. OTC posts in ANN thread today)... w/e if people want to use that then its fine. Im only trying to clean up this thread! |
