And another 300 bite the dust!

What percentage of Catholic priests are pedophiles?

According to the pacatholic.org, there are exactly 776 diocesan priests in Pennsylvania, and 300 of them are pedophiles?  THAT IS OVER 38 PERCENT!!!!1!!

WHAT THE HOLY FUCK CATHOLICS?!?!?

Grand Jury discovers 300 Catholic Priests involved in Pennsylvania pedo ring
https://www.puppetstringnews.com/blog/grand-jury-discovers-300-catholic-priests-involved-in-pennsylvania-pedo-ring

Quote
The Goldwater Reports: A landmark investigation by a grand jury has identified over 300 "predator priests" in six of Pennsylvania's Roman Catholic dioceses. The findings were revealed Friday when the state Supreme Court ordered the report to be made public. The Supreme Court judges said the report on child sex abuse at the hands of clergy goes back decades and allegations of cover-ups were rampant although the "individual-specific information" of the priests and their cohorts will not be made public in the initial version.
Due to the priests and others who have challenged the findings, the court wants the redaction process to be completed no later than August 8, which is when the 800-page report is expected to be released. If the priests dispute the redactions made by the court-appointed special master, the release of the report could be delayed by a week. Currently, some priests and others say their constitutional rights are being violated because they were not able to address the grand jury prompting the Supreme Court to consider their objections.
America this may be the discovery of one of America's biggest child trafficking ring operations inside the United States, where a Grand Jury has discovered that 300 Catholic Priests in Pennsylvania are involved in a major child trafficking network. Like we've stated before no where in America that are public forms are safe for children, from your K-12 education centers, amusement places, and places of worship.
This should really show Americans that the Catholic Church and the Vatican are deeply involved in human/child trafficking networks, and this might be the biggest discovery in the church where 300 priests are involved in a child trafficking network out of Pennsylvania. That bad May that Q told us would happen to the Pope and the Vatican is turning into a bad year. This is only one US state where a major network of Catholic priests have been discovered in a major child trafficking ring, so this evil is likely anywhere else in America inside Catholic dioceses.

And another one today

http://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2018/08/11/these-christians-just-realized-they-face-life-in-prison-for-killing-their-baby/

Quote
Welch has posted about Child Protective Services, a distrust of doctors and religious beliefs on Facebook. He called doctors “priesthoods of the medical cult” and spoke in one video post about refusing to get his children vaccinated.

“The righteous shall live by faith. It’s God who is sovereign over disease and those sorts of things and, of course, ultimately deaths,” he said.

God is “sovereign over disease,” says the man who saw an eye doctor for his glasses.

Man Yelled “Jesus is Coming!” Before Stabbing His 16-Month-Old Son to Death
http://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2018/08/20/man-yelled-jesus-is-coming-before-stabbing-his-16-month-old-son-to-death

Quote
A Texas man reportedly yelled “Jesus is coming!” before stabbing his own 16-month-old son to death.

In what almost seems like an attempt to prove how dangerous religious ideas about the afterlife can be, the man reportedly beat and stuck a knife in his son on Sunday in the courtyard of an apartment complex. The local police captain, Jesse Hunter, said the boy died at the hospital.

According to Hunter, witnesses told police that the man carried the child out of an apartment and yelled “Jesus is coming” before the attack.

Dallas TV station KDFW reports that a neighbor watching from a second-floor balcony shot the suspect in the leg, ending the attack. Police say the neighbor will not face any charges.

A “good guy with a gun” tried to stop the attack, but it was too late, and the young boy is now dead… primarily because of religious beliefs that were clearly taken too seriously by this man.

As Karl Marx rightly said "religion is the opium of the masses".

I truly believe that religion is poison but since I believe that this post has an atheist undertone, I would not jump to conclusions. I believe that religion actually blinds people from the truth, hypnotises them and chain them. It justifies oppression and myriads of acts of wickedness. However, I believe there's some truth to religion, especially the kind that ultimately preaches love and virtuous living. And any school of thought saying that everything that exist today just came into being by themselves after a big explosion is just irrational!

the real problem is people can't understand metaphors. believers or unbelievers, all lost... Cry

I have always been curious who decides what words are meant literal and which metaphor... is there an official list, or is it up to each believer individually?

When I read Jesus say things like, "No man shall see the kingdom of heaven unless he be born again", literally this implies reincarnation... more of a buddhist belief than christian

Jesus says, "Sell all your possessions and give to the poor, then follow me" or something similar a dozen times in the bible... again, this is buddhist dogma, not christian

The more I study buddhism, the more I am certain that Jesus was a buddhist, and all this literal vs metaphor nonsense has misinterpreted his message to mean something completely different from what he actually said

It the language says, "The following is literal," odds are it is to be taken literally. If it says that the following is a parable, than the following might be a parable and not literal.

Read the rest: "Unless he is born of water and the Spirit." No implication of reincarnation there.

Following Jesus gives eternal life to the follower... in the resurrection. Buddhism offers nothing like that.

You seem to make it up as you go along.

I'd love to see anywhere in the bible the words, "The following is literal"... who is making up what now?

As for Jesus speaking about reincarnation... where does it say "the following is a parable"?

I stick by my hypothesis that Jesus was a Buddhist.  Buddhists believe you have to be reborn before reaching nirvana, et al.  The first birth is literally called "Stream-Enterer", referring to a stream of water, almost word for word what you quoted from Jesus.  Your ignorance of buddhism does not mean Jesus didn't understand it

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_stages_of_enlightenment#Stream-enterer

Buddhism also offers eternal life.  How do you not view reincarnation as eternal life?  There are also several branches of buddhism, much like christianity, with various beliefs.

You seem to know as little about buddhism as you do about atheism, evolution or christianity

Man Uses Bible to Justify Decapitating His Girlfriend in Front of 3-Year-Old
http://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2018/08/30/man-uses-bible-to-justify-decapitating-his-girlfriend-in-front-of-3-year-old/

Quote
A man charged with premeditated murder says he decapitated his wife in front of their three-year-old daughter (below) because she didn’t “repent.” He later used the Bible to justify his violent crime.

Timothy Paul Hernandez, a 32-year-old man from the state of Washington, was arrested after his parents came home from church and found the decapitated body of his girlfriend. The couple reportedly had a verbal argument the night before.

They told investigators said Hernandez and his girlfriend were verbally arguing before going to bed that Saturday night. They left for church sometime between 9:30 and 10 a.m. and when they returned home, they found the woman dead…

“Timothy advised that he had spoken with God, who told him to strike down his girlfriend … because she did not repent,” a detective wrote in charging documents. “Timothy stated that he struck her down, and caused for her head to be removed from her body.”

Investigator said Hernandez quoted two Bible verses to them, including a passage from the Book of Revelation.

“Each of the verses that were quoted had passages in them that spoke about women who did not follow God’s word, so God struck them down.”

Hernandez was charged with premeditated murder because he didn’t just have a mental health breakdown. He had a fight with this girlfriend the night before, and then chose to kill her the next day, while his parents were at church.

Before you jump the conclusion that mental illness played a role in this murder, however, you should listen to what Hernandez himself had to say about that theory:

Hernandez told investigators he was not crazy, and stated that a crazy person would not tell the truth, investigators said.

Detectives found a large butcher knife in the home’s sink, bloody clothing, and used a chemical to illuminate bloody footprints around the body that led into the kitchen to the sink where the knife was located. The victim had multiple stab wounds.

Charging documents also give disturbing details about the 3-year-old observing the crime scene.

As horrific as this is, it seems neither unbelievable nor new. Even if religion played a role in the crime, the root causes for his violent outburst may go back to something even older than Christianity: jealousy and the desire to control a woman. The Bible was merely justification for what he did. Now it’s his only defense.

It is not possible to live after you die.

Your Christian carrot stick is fake.

How do you know that it is not possible to live after you die? Consider:

The only reason we know that life is possible at all is because it is here. We can't make it. If we come close in some kind of a lab, we don't have a clue how to start reproduction. Essentially, life is impossible. Evolution has been proven over and over, that it is impossible. But even if it were possible, we don't have the right theory for it, and we don't know what theory could show how life could be possible.

So, let me say it again. There is only one reason why we know that life is possible, and that is because it is here. That's it. Period.

Since impossible life happened once, why are you so sure it can't happen twice or more?

Christianity means following Christ but in this ages it is more to be called as a religion. And that religion integrates too many forms, beliefs, and rules that disform the true Christianity. By believing the religion, this became a poison.

But those who truly believe in Christ the right way, makes Christianity to be a sweet smelling perfume, and the way to eternal life.

Those others who are called Christians, or are called part of Christianity, are not! They are liars, or they are being lied about.

Christianity is not poison.

Wow! Your insight amazes me... for a joker like you.

Life came into being the first time. We don't know how. We don't understand it.

There is no reason why it can't happen again. We don't understand how it can happen again, but we don't understand how it happened the first time. So, we don't know that it can't happen again.

Your density amazes me even more than your great insight.

He owes them a fine. Why? Because if they knew he was or was going to be gay, they wouldn't have let him in, in the first place.

He is an embarrassment for being there. He has destroyed some of their good reputation by being there. He should have disclosed to them in the first place. Since he didn't, he damaged them by damaging their reputation. He owes them a great big fine for the damage.

His supposed loss in paying them for over 3 years isn't a loss. He received the training that he purchased. He made it to class, and the teacher taught him. Now let him pay for the damage he did.

Pedophilia is not a religion.

If it happened in religious circles, it is up to the church to do the judging and the punishment. It is also up to the secular government to stay out - 1st Amendment.

Just curious, where would you draw a line?  Human sacrifice perhaps?

Crime is a crime.  No matter if you are religious or not.

If people followed your logic, all the criminal gangs have to do is register their organizations as churches.  Then their criminal activity be protected by the 1st amendment, LOL.

No, it's where would YOU draw the line. Are you going to let government take all your freedoms away, even when it goes against their own writings?

The church is a government. The only difference is the writings. The church would judge anyway, with a jury made up of church people. So, let the government stay out, and let the church judge.
