Ethereum is obviously a good altcoin . After Bitcoin the next trusted crypto currency is ethereum. Infact people are buying Ethereum with Bitcoins . Few people also feel that Ethereum will overcome Bitcoin.

Ethereum is never a coin to stay away from. It's been a powerful and promising coin from day one. For me it's the safest coin to hold my money after Bitcoin itself and as for investment , it's strong coin that will only keep getting more so it's a nice long term investment for me.

I don't share your optimism about the Ethereum. First in this coin there is no limit on the number and it will lead in the future to inflation. Secondly, who knows what will result changes in terms of mining coins. I would not recommend ETH as an investment for the long term. |

I don't share your optimism about the Ethereum. First in this coin there is no limit on the number and it will lead in the future to inflation. The first answer the pos migration already planned in the q2 of the next year and the second answer you are just speculating and no more. If you don't wanna see ethereum gets inflation and that should be gone to the pos. |

Instead of investment point of view , I will be talking the from the perspective of project and team
The Ethereum project is arguably one of the best platform right now especially it's ERC20 which allows people to launch their token easily , DAPP has quite a number of users too , talking about team , Vitalik has some bad fame as people think he's looking to make Ethereum centralized and tried to approach big companies and government . Ethereum without a supply cap is one of the big problem too

Ethereum is good altcoin if you see in the market cap now the ETH on 2nd position after bitcoin. Ethereum is have good community that always support this coins also many ICO project that based on ETH who succesfully running. So i don't think we must stay away in this coin. ETH is good investment too.

If things going on as in last period It seems to me ETH will be unstoppable and keeps generating profit... <<< IMHO
This is so true. Ethereum having the smart contract functionality alone will most definitely help it retain a very good position in the top cryptocurrencies to invest in. They have made their algorithm so unique that new ICOs most definitely need them to be able to deploy their contract and with that I see no way it won't keep having an impact in the community. |

But when I noticed that almost all the posters here are newbies and are blindly promoting ETH with one-liner posts, not well-thought of ones, I almost instantly concluded that these are payed accounts trying to raise the hype once more for ETH. Not a good way.

I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.
At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.
Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).
So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Ethereum is really a good coin. If you always read articles or posts about comparing Ethereum with Bitcoin. Ethereum has many features than Bitcoin. And you notice that there are a lot of ethereum-based coin we have right now. You may create smart contract in ethereum blockchain. And it is faster than Bitcoin.

For ne it is a good altcoin perhaps it is the most successful altcoins this year if bitcoin cadh is not considered ad an altcoins but among all the considered as altcoins, ethereum gets the top spot when it becomes to price. And a lot of people loves it because it have a lot of potential, I can see that they getting successful just like what bitcoins are before but fo me they cannot surpass bitcoins because bitcoins is the pioneer and the most successful cryptos. But when talking about altcoins probably ethereum it a big name. For me its also a good coin among the other altcoin , like what you said Etherium is the most popular altcoin for this year. Aside from bitcoin it is also a good coin to keep. As we all know ETC has a good value in the market of digital currency. So, for me its a good investment if you try Etherium, since it has a name. |

For me eth is legit. I believe with this coin will growing and growing. More and more token or project use this platform. If this is continue i have no doubt eth will be one of bitcoin competitor.
