The ETH is supported by several big business. For example, the bank Santeander will issue cash on the main chain.

Spanish banking giant Santander is making a bold move in the direction of Ethereum by creating a way to tie bank accounts and fiat currency to tokens on the Turing complete blockchain system.

Demonstrating this innovation was the bank's partner within the Ethereum community, EtherCamp, which has been building out the Ethereum Javascript environment for past couple of years, among other things.

The first use case of the Santander/EtherCamp CashEth project is micropayments, so leveraging the agility of the Ethereum blockchain to pay tiny amounts to read newspaper articles with zero fees, recorded on the blockchain.

Roman Mandeleil lead developer of EtherCamp told IBTimes UK: "It's a way of using a Santander bank account to convert fiat currency into tokens to be used on Ethereum."

That is good news. So it will make a big usage of the Etheruem block chain. It will be a good start for the more application.

The Etheruem price is trading within a small range. So it couild be a good time for the range trading.

It is still decentralised. In fact, it is still in the PoW phase, the premined coins are diluted even more.

If you are investing on a good way I think it will be a good investment but the fact is that you have to invest exactly on the right time to be honest.

well this is true about all other altcoins, you have to find the bottoms to get in. and as they say:
Buy Low, Sell High

and for ethereum it has been like a roller coaster so far. it dies from big dump after big dump and all those whales dumping are waiting at the bottom at prices in range of 0.014-0.018BTC to buy back in to pump it up again.

That is right. The Ethereum price did not rise a lot after the Devcon2 conference. It might start to rise soon.

Ethereum is not exactly an altcoin in the common sense. It has a totally new code. So yes, I'd say that it is a good altcoin since it is the most inventive one.

Most people think the bitcoin is the main coin, and all other coins are the altcoin. So the Ethereum is treated as altcoin.

Absolutely yes, any coin other than bitcoin whether they are developed from scratch or a new code are considered as an altcoin regardless of what they think.

I treat all other coins as the altcoin. There are some altcoins which are very useful in the transacations.

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
According To Me Its A Better Choice To Invest Your Money Into Etherum Because According To Me It Has A Good Future As Compare to Other Altcoins But For Making A Good Profit From Etherum You Have to Invest On A Right Time When the Price Is Lower Only Then You Can Make a Good Profit....

I'd actually go as far as to say that the vast majority, say 99.99% of people who have invest in ETH have made money. It's hard not to with the gud tech that ETH is.

You always have to research before you do something but I think that it can be trusted and that you can risk it on it to be honest.
Its of course your own choice but most likely it will be a good investment.

I must say that Ethereum can be a good investment but I honestly do not know what ti expect from it due to the fact the future cannot be predicted of course.
Lets hope we can say that it raised after a while.
