Ethereum: Good alt or stay away?

Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now.. 
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

I had the same issue recently, but I also realised that I think most of my bearishness is just coming from this alt slump that's affecting a lot of coins (particularly the younger ones). It's certainly a good shout as low cap long shot coins go; they've made good headway in a short amount of time and are already making decent partnerships.

If you are considering moving it into core holdings (BTC, ETH, XMR) then fair enough, but make sure you aren't making emotional trades or just exchanging one low cap coin for another simply because ENJ hasn't fared well in this bear market.
In that case, ENJ would be a coin I'd be looking at buying right now. It's actually a good time to be looking at the ATL compares to the current price of these coins, and maybe even the RSI to see what is looking seriously oversold.

Of course Ethereum is a good altcoin because its become top to all altcoin since its value increase then it is the next good coin to bitcoin. Then its also good coin because it has potential to increase even more its value this end of the year like it happen last year. And the demand of people who wants ethereum are growing so its possible it become more popular.

Ethereum has very fast transactions so it will be a top competitor for Bitcoin. If Bitcoin transactions speeds up then Bitcoin will not see Ethereum as a threat.

Ethereum is currently the dominant protocol trying to eat digitals contracts, by far. Contracts is a multi-billon-dollars market. If ETH takes at least a small portion of it in the near future, the price will skyrocket. IMO, ETH competitors are still far behind it, which makes Ethereum even more interesting.

My favorite Alt is Ethereum, and I only have a little BTC
I prefer Ethereum, because it can be easy to contribute in ICO without having to change the wallet
and I prefer to see the price chart of Ethereum from Bitcoin

But mine advice - Keep amount you can easily lose, this market is overvalued for now

If I think it's good because Ethereum has gone up and I think Ethereum has growth potential
Growth but altcoin is better not to invest because to invest we have to be careful when the price goes down

It would be good stay, alt it has great potential just hold it still and wait for good opportunity, just as we always heard we can only invest what we can afford to lose, better do it than regret later.

I feel like Ethereum is a topic that really splits people's opinions.
Many say that it's just pump and dump and doesnt really have any substantial value, but dont forget that it's the 2nd largest cryptocurrency by now.
Ethereum has gotten a lot of media coverage as well, they're focusing on smart contracts and it seems like a very cool technology to people unfamiliar with crypto.
so I definitely think Ethereum is worth investing and we havent seen the last of it yet!

I think ETH is also good, after BTC, ETH is the second largest market for electronic money, so you should be safe while holding ETH. Its value is not as high as BTC, but I hope one day it will be a replacement for the BTC.

For me its a good coin. But to make sure don't just hold altcoins and wait for the big wave. Trade it! buy low sell high.
