@Everyone

Espers v0.8.5.3 has been released
The chain will continue to move the way it currently does on PoS until bock 642,000 (sometime tomorrow)
After this however PoW and PoS will equally once again find blocks and the DarkGravityWave will run as it should.
Excuse the inconvenience of this!
-- yes that was very drone sounding SORRY! but had to restate this as it is actually corrected now
Also we are excited to announce a new system that has been put into the chain that will ensure blocktimes along with other chain params that are part of the system.

Please NOTE: You do NOT have to re-sync or do anything special. Just run the new client, the server for auto-updates should be back online sometime tomorrow in the meantime PLEASE USE THE LINK BELOW
Alternatively you can download the standalone Windows client here.

Mac client to follow suite, Linux users please re-compile.

Some addnodes while the servers are in maintenance Smiley
Code:
addnode=104.236.150.155:22448

If you are on a fork you don't necessarily need to reload the blockchain.
It may reorganise itself, provided you are on the latest client.

^^ this Smiley the client should re-index you over a period of time.

Updated link on OP and v0.8.5.3 ANN: >>New client released just now, updated dependencies & Qt 5.8<< (Windows)

Pool is indeed down right now.
We'll have it back up when we can. There's lots of things in the works so hang tight we'll get it done like we always do.

What happened? My last synchronized block 650005. Today, a wallet 3 times closed here with this error. Previously, such errors will never occur.

It is also minig stopped, the difficulty is completely dropped and my miner constantly rejected:

This with a wallet already becoming tedious.

Hoping its final now, and ESP will be pressed out of the first page in the announcements board. U wont see ESP in the top 100 most visited threads by tomorrow. I have been working hard to shut down this meager coin and Im delighted to see that things got finally settled down.

I would not advise investing in Espers or any other CryptoCoderz project. He had my company spend thousands of dollars on server equipment promising returns then just kept postponing give us credentials or sending us our share of the pool. He used us until we were no longer needed and he just disappeared. Run as fast as possible from these projects as you can you will lose your money.

We have shut down all hosting of his pools and other services since he has disappeared. So would not be surprised if it is all gone.

Just for the note, apparently CryptoCoderz Slack account was hacked and it looks like it was CatlinCS who hacked it ... he posted this message under the account of CryptoCoderz:

Quote
Crypto Coderz is a joke. He promised me a return on his coin and ended up having me waste thousands of dollars on hardware. he wouldn't even give any passwords. Would not advise trusting his coin or group.

I guess this is the reason why he is supposed to be "gone" lol, and why the domain (cryptocoderz.com) is down. I'm pretty sure he is not "gone", but expect some weird things to happen ...  Undecided Goddamn. I have chatted with a few guys last night on Slack, he was just in the process of fixing something broken with the "velocity" and problems on Windows clients.

He walked out of our company on the 21st leaving everything open on our company computer. He then informed everyone else that he no longer works here and has yet to reach out to us and inform us of this decisions. Only reason I know all of this information is because that computer is still open at his old desk sitting there pinging away. The way he was *fixing* anything on the pools etc is because he was remote accessing this computer to work from after closing.

More then likely the reason he did not inform us of his quiting is to use our systems for as long as possible.
