It looks like miner does not support the AMD RX480.

That is correct. It does not support the RX series cards.  Pallas, who made the miner does not have an RX series card, so he could not write a kernel for them.

Yea someone on the Doubloons thread had stated that and said why dont someone lend him one.I would if I had one but I dont.Im sure he is a trustworthy person.

If you have a spare one laying around why dont you lend it to him for awhile.Im pretty sure you would get it back.  Smiley

ok I go to help and qt says its 5.8.0
Is this the right one, despite the patch.
Someone said I was on a fork as I was mining a block a second for a while. I'm seeing incoming transactions from mining and shows current as 2/26/2017.
Please advise. When I try to launch Espers it's showing what i installed 2/24 but when it launches it's the 5.8.0 with no indication I'm on the new patch.
It's mining a block a second again. I don't know and I am not seeing a new indication of a new file and after extracting and opening what i have 5.8.0

@Everyone

Espers v0.8.5.3 has been released
The chain will continue to move the way it currently does on PoS until bock 642,000 (sometime tomorrow)
After this however PoW and PoS will equally once again find blocks and the DarkGravityWave will run as it should.
Excuse the inconvenience of this!
-- yes that was very drone sounding SORRY! but had to restate this as it is actually corrected now
Also we are excited to announce a new system that has been put into the chain that will ensure blocktimes along with other chain params that are part of the system.

Please NOTE: You do NOT have to re-sync or do anything special. Just run the new client, the server for auto-updates should be back online sometime tomorrow in the meantime PLEASE USE THE LINK BELOW
Alternatively you can download the standalone Windows client here.

Mac client to follow suite, Linux users please re-compile.

Some addnodes while the servers are in maintenance Smiley
Code:

If you are on a fork you don't necessarily need to reload the blockchain.
It may reorganise itself, provided you are on the latest client.

^^ this Smiley the client should re-index you over a period of time.

Pool is indeed down right now.
We'll have it back up when we can. There's lots of things in the works so hang tight we'll get it done like we always do.

What happened? My last synchronized block 650005. Today, a wallet 3 times closed here with this error. Previously, such errors will never occur.

It is also minig stopped, the difficulty is completely dropped and my miner constantly rejected:

This with a wallet already becoming tedious.

Hoping its final now, and ESP will be pressed out of the first page in the announcements board. U wont see ESP in the top 100 most visited threads by tomorrow. I have been working hard to shut down this meager coin and Im delighted to see that things got finally settled down.

I would not advise investing in Espers or any other CryptoCoderz project. He had my company spend thousands of dollars on server equipment promising returns then just kept postponing give us credentials or sending us our share of the pool. He used us until we were no longer needed and he just disappeared. Run as fast as possible from these projects as you can you will lose your money.
