this is a good talk,I thik the bitcoin will be on the high price in the 2017,because now the coin is attracting more people than that before.
The most will dont even know what will happen with Bitcoin in that year and that is the problem but it will be maybe a better year than this year so that is nice. But the value can be not that high now in this year because it was already keeping stable so that is bad. Actually we can guess since bitcoin price is high ATM ( 580$ ) like it was in 2014 now I am guess it will break all its record and reach 800+ in 2017.Also many people might think of selling BTC this may also effect the price.  when the services and goods started to available on internet and offline with bitcoin then no one will sell his/her coins and will use bitcoin as their normal currency and so bitcoin will not crash and will continue to rise. |

Yeah, It will reach to the top by 2017 compared with past because its has reached the maximum popular level to show the best value by 2017. I think 2017 will truly be the year for bitcoin, because I feel that halving will happen in 2016, it will cause people to know about bitcoin, and start buying bitcoin
i have heard people say the same thing about 2016 when we were still in 2015 so I do not know what to believe. I am just going to wait and see what 2017 is going to bring us. I think nothing is truly the year of bitcoin because bitcoin is still alive so we will see year after year. so do not think that if 2017 was the best year of bitcoin. for another year will come and go. and I'm sure each of the years to come always give special thing in bitcoin |

How so? I've heard the same multiple times for both 2015 and 2016.
Eventually "this year will be the year" will be right... Heh. Seriously though, why assume that BTC has to see 1000% growth again? It already has a healthy, upward trend. Besides, all altcoins that eventually gain recognition see that same exponential growth at first. Be happy with 100-150 dollars/year price increase. |

As long as we see some progress in a yearly basis then we can already consider it a year for bitcoins. We don't really need an abrupt adoption to increase the price and profit from our investment, we need slowly and steady adoption to back the price and would result to substantial increase of the price. |

i agree, but at the same time it is not all about the price. if you are just and investor who wants to dump bitcoin and get back to fiat as fast as possible then yeah you can say this but if you are really into bitcoin then it is all about the adoption and how many places there are to spend bitcoin. |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

2017 is just another speculative year for bitcoin value, though i admit, bitcoin have steady growth in terms of demand, development and adoption, still in a decentralized world, nothing is certain only change wether it is up or down no one knows. Now we are just waiting for a higher value and that is all what we can do but you see now even that the value of Bitcoin started to rise so that is perfect.
As long as we will continue to support bitcoins, everyday is a new journey and this new journey will give us a good profit in the future. The price now is not at its peak as it will still continue to rise for the years to come, don't expect a fallback of the price as we are a more stronger community now than 2013. |

I don't think that 2017 will be the BItcoin year just yet. I think there's still much work to do in the core of the network. There's the bloating problem and the scalability problem still to solve. Only after this issues have been addressed,bitcoin will be able to see better days.

I don't think that 2017 will be the BItcoin year just yet. I think there's still much work to do in the core of the network. There's the bloating problem and the scalability problem still to solve. Only after this issues have been addressed,bitcoin will be able to see better days.
But as what it is happening with bitcoin like it's rapid price increase and more and more stores are going to accept bitcoin as a method of payment. that is a good that bitcoin's year is always, just like this year 2016 because is going to happen this year. And so the good result will happen next years. |

I have heard that about every year since 2012. According to some bitcoin should be worth $10,000 by now. Well being 10,000$ value of bitcoin is still far on the way. But I believe that it will happen soon, we just need to believe and wait for the right time for it to happen. |

Be happy with 100-150 dollars/year price increase. that's just not how it works. you might think that a steady growth is good, but it's not. look up adoption curves of literally anything, and you'll see that it is ALWAYS exponential. It either growth exponentially or it dies of, there is no middle ground. Bitcoin will either keep growing exponentially until everyone uses it, or it will die. it's as simple as that. |
