Every year is an year of bitcoin.So surely 2017 would be.It would pass 1000$ mark I think in 2017 and hold a steady price also.reaching 4 figure mark in 2017 would be a great achievement for it.

I like it. Every year, is a bitcoin year! There are maybe ups and downs but surely and consistently it would be up overall. Now we are at 650+ dollar and hoping that it will $700 or more soon just like weeks ago. Let us be hopeful that 2017 is more favorable to us.

Price won't go for a higher one if all people will use it as an currency. No such stable one since no profits will be made if price will become a stable one.

If you are expecting for a price increase next year at 2017, most people must use it for an investment as this is the reason why we have a price like this today.

Well, it wouldn't be very profitable for miners if bitcoin didn't move up in value. If that happens, since the halving has happened, I guess the transaction fees would be even higher. Although, there is somewhat an expected rise in value but it might take weeks, months even.

Small miners would actually quit or they level up their mining system by adding more rigs to keep up with the current difficulty and drop rewards.

Big miners will still continue to mine. The price today is still good for them since they already experienced low price back in $200 range in 25 block rewards so 12.5 rewards today can keep up with the current price of above $600.

I still see what will happen after halving until the end of 2016 if the price rises pretty high, probably in 2017 will be higher

if it is in line with expectation, and halving actually occurred in late 2016, then in 2017 will truly be the year of bitcoin.
users of bitcoin will become millionaires and ordinary people will invest the money they have into bitcoin. I hope it really happens

Yeah I have heard this so many times about 2017 and even in the past when we were still in 2015 people were talking about 2016 being the year.
I am not sure what to believe anymore so I am just going to see for my self what will happen.
